Yeah until the next season I'm presuming. I haven't started watching this season, but have been ruminating on when we last saw him since I last posted about it.

Well BULLY for you the roast was naturally cooked more on the shorter end [which I cooked at the end of the pit in a somewhat reverse flow smoker].

It came out at about 140 as far as I heard. It's really a buyer's game as far as what temperatures make for what consistency, but I'm fairly certain that's pretty far from rare.

I was probing it like 20 minutes before pulling and it was all over the place. 111, 113, 117, 121. I was ready to just expect an inconsistent roast or something. When I came back though I flicked the thermometer and it was like 121-123 throughout so I just pulled it. If it really got to 140 then I'm probably gonna start pulling it earlier to see if the spread holds because I've gotten a 15+ degree jump before.

I believe in vaccines. I don't believe in mandates against the will of the people though. I do agree with a state's right to choose who should get a vaccine if they do or don't want that person in the country.

re: Novak, with cases skyrocketing and a vaccine that does very little to stop transmission of the latest variant he was clearly no biosecurity risk and they could have alternatively required quarantine and frequent testing to allow the world's best player and defending champion to compete. But it was never about that. I don't think they even care whether any tennis player here for a few weeks is actually vaccinated — all that matters is that a compliant public thinks they are.

The totalitarian message is simple. Go balls deep in Pfizer or Pf#ck off. Anything perceived to create any "vaccine hesitancy" is not allowed in this society. Any talk of "natural immunity" or "bodily autonomy" will see you banished to the fringes. You must submit to substances administered with blanket immunity with no legal recourse if you do experience an adverse reaction which of course no one in the majority singing from the same hymn sheet will want to know about. Of course you're not being forced — you just won't have a job or participate in society. Anyway the media pile on was relentless and they quickly turned this heavily brainwashed public against him which made it even easier for them to play their trump card using ministerial powers typically reserved for deporting criminals on the grounds his mere presence was a threat to civil order and public health. China and NK would approve.

They want everyone boosted into oblivion for years to come and didn't want one of the fittest athletes in the world showing you can be fit and healthy without Pfizer. However he's been backed into a corner up against this juggernaut and will have to submit or be driven out of the sport with nowhere to compete and no way to defend ranking points, etc. At the tail end of his career with his legacy on the line it's probably better for him to fake a jab than a covid diagnosis which for the reasons I mentioned won't grant him an exemption because this is not about biosecurity — it's about ideology.

He wasn't here to attend rallies or protests on vaccines or mandates and I can't see anywhere on his social media where he's telling people not to take vaccines. In fact he's actually made significant medical donations in response to Covid. He just happens to be incredibly fit and healthy which it turns out is your best defense against Covid. Out of shape politicians with comorbidities don't like to talk about that.

The same goes for all the local news sites' Youtube videos. It's interesting how for years we looked on at communist states controlling their populations this way and then suddenly it starts happening under the guise of emergency health measures to protect us. Two years simmering away — cue up the boiling frog in the pot.

Several states here are governed by unhinged despots drunk with unfettered power, ruling with an iron fist, pushing mandates for 100% of the population to protect a small minority. There is no other way to describe it. I won't go deep on the details because fortunately you're not imprisoned here and have your own issues to deal with at home but there is no question we are moving away from the tenets of democracy and fundamental human rights are being violated. The fearmongering is unrelenting.

Insert a boilerplate complaint they had to get jabbed for their job so why should he be able to come in and play tennis? His deportation and automatic 3 year ban was strictly because he could potentially discourage the 7% of the country unvaccinated or the 93% double jabbed to not get a third one. I think typically you can train for either endurance or power indefinitely, but otherwise it's mainly more Olympic or sport specific when you try to get fancy mixing them.

Yeah I know I'll ditch this when I can't beat previous numbers. I write down the rep number I my last set. I'm probably most interested to see how leg training goes in the coming weeks. Right now it feels like jackpot, but initial weeks can be deceiving. None of my sets on any exercises are less than 10 reps lmaol
