I am so FREAKIN pumped for the gym tomorrow. I dunno where it came from. But I'm so stoked to change! I can't wait till this time next year! What a change will be made with consistent effort!
Looked at my pic I took on Nov 1st and there's no noticeable change cause I've been screwing around. I'm not sad though, just reinforces how important it is to really commit to changing!
SO PUMPED.
Boy am I hyper.

Woohoo! That's awesome. I love it when that feeling hits. Sometimes it doesn't hit me until AFTER i've been at the gym already for about 10 mins. Then I start thinking how great it is to do this and how strong my body is - and I just get more amped up.
I'm REALLY excited cuz the workout plan I've been on in ends this week and I start something new next week! Excited to see some changes!"If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut." - Albert Einstein

I hear ya!
I know when i go to the gym regularily, I walk a little taller, stand a little straighter. Cause I'm doing something most people aren't.
Also, I have to ask you all, I'm embarassed to all hell to eat a burger and fries in front of people I don't know (eg, classmates). But never in my life have I been embarassed to inhale an apple so fast I can hardly chew, and shovel a scoop of peanut butter in, trying to down it before my proff shows up.
Anybody else feel that way? I came to the conclusion last week or so, that if I don't want people to see me eating something cause I'm embarassed about eating it...maybe I should take a cue from my ego.
Kinda made me think.
Full body workout tomorrow at the gym! Plus grocery shopping.Strive for more.

Hey! No dirty bulk talking in here ! hehe j/k
hmmmm milk and cookies...sounds so good.
*sigh*
Gma came to our house a few days ago and made gingerbread houses/men with the kids. Yeah, the frosting and candy peices were so good.
And she brought over some sort of pudding/whip mix dish she makes. Its fantastic, and tasted so good. I am starting to dread when she comes to visit!
Last time she came, she brought over 3 loafs of banana nut bread.

Good! I'm glad! Sometimes that enthusiasm makes a difference between going or not going, ha.
Went to the gym and oh my, jiggley boo or what now. My arms haven't felt this drained in a long time, my legs always feel like this after but not arms. So yay. That must mean I pushed myself harder then usual. Feels good.
Going to weigh myself next week, and take new pics at the end of january.
Boo yeah. Can't wait till my skinny jeans look skinny again!
I bought them at 6months pregnant and they fit so nicely then. Now they give me the muffin top to end all muffin tops, haha. So yeah, pretty excited for that!Strive for more.

Hope everyone is off to a great start!! Are we posting progress pics? or just the March 11th ones?

I think it will be best if we wait until the end.... Or we could do pics at the "half way" mark. If we post every week or so that will be too much.
I also hope everyone is starting off strong and keeps their energy up. I struggled last night to get myself to the gym, I just wanted to stay at home and go to bed early, but I ended up having a power nap on the couch, put my little guy to bed and went to the gym and pushed out 60min. of cardio!! Woo HOO!!!
I can't wait to take my progress pics (once a month Im taking them) to see how much my work is doing.
Im actually doing REALLY great with my diet as well, Im surprised about that. Hope you all are doing great and are ready for Christmas, Santa comes tomorrow night for those with children... It has creeped up on me once again this year!

Hey, good work getting to the gym, I am my own brain's worst enemy on days like that, fighting back and forth with excuses for not going, and coming back with reasons to- but the good guy prevailed and you did fantastically!
I've had a very tiring day today, and it's been difficult to keep my protein up because it leaves me full and even more sleepy! I don't have kids so tomorrow night brings festivities in the pubs of my hometown, I always see a lot of old friends on xmas eve as they all come home, but what I hate is the inevitable christmas day hangover, so will be making a real effort to go easy on the booze tomorrow and not overindulge too much on christmas day! I'm so determined to have a wonderful day this year, that isnt plagued by guilt from out of control eating.
Good Luck everyone and have a fabulous christmas!

I am the queen of giving myself a hard time for eating what I "shouldnt" however, I refuse to feel bad on for eating christmas dinner But the fact that I am vegetarian and I dont eat dairy either so all of my dishes are nearly fat free, and very low in calories so that helps. Its that damn christmas stocking that gets me. The kids dont like dark chocolate but for some reason santa keeps bringing it
Anyway.. All week I have been spot on, and have been exercising, so Im enjoying today and Im really excited for it to be over, no more speed bumps in my road!

Is it too late to join in? I need this, BAD! Going on a cruise in April, and I started my body transformation the beginning of December. I've already lost 5 lbs this month and am starting to see abs poke through!
My stats:
Starting Stats:
Female
Age:32
Weight: 163 - was 168 beginning of Dec.
Height: 5'10"
Body Fat: Not entirely sure. I'll see about getting it measured at the gym this week.
I'll take some pics and post on Monday. I've been lurking around here for a while, so this will get me posting a bit here and there!

Well guys, seems like I'm helping you win over me here... I was super-disciplined until... this morning. It seems like everything went down the drain and HELLO chocolate and all the crappy stuff... anyway, had a really nasty cheat meal and I'm feeling awful (psychologically) right now... I'll be back in the saddle but...

Howdy ladies! How is everyone's Monday going???
After a few days of eating stupid and drinking stupid in the casinos, I'm back to my regular self today. I started a new workout regime - I will be doing WW's Kiss workout for the next 4 weeks or so. I decided I needed a big change!
Squats - 5x5x100
Assisted Pull-Ups - 5x5 (the program says to use bands, but I don't have any - so I just used the assisted machine at the gym - and I HATE it. May just do negatives from now on)
Standing DB Shoulder Presses - 5x5x25s
Single Leg DB Deadlifts - 5x5x25s (wow - these are harder than I thought - I have terrible balance! - anyone else ever try these? It was a humbling experience for sure..)
Ab wheel - 5x5
It kind of was wierd to me that he didn't have a chest exercise today, so I was gonna throw one in, but was too tired at the end of it. Plus, I'm not feeling very well today - lots of congestion - may be getting sick. Blegh. Didn't do cardio today either cuz of my crappy feeling.
I may tack on a chest exercise the next few weeks on this day.

There's a bunch of diff ways to make them, but this is how I do mine:
1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. cottage cheese
3 egg whites
little bit of splenda
splash of vanilla extract/cinnamon to taste
protein powder to meet requirements (I usually add 1/2 scoop)
Blend it in the blender and cook on a skillet. Yummy!"If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut." - Albert Einstein
