It's a complete body of work--not one game. Oho State beat 3 top 15 teams in a row and Wisconsin twice (top 10) (by at least 17 points per game). LSU's defense is improving; but, it's been inconsistent. The Buckeyes have dominated on both sides of the ball, top 1-3 in every category (hell, they have three Heisman candidates--with one on D) with an OoC schedule that includes two conference champions and a runner up--with 0 FCS teams played.

I'll also add that LSU gave up 38 to Texas, 38 to Vandy, 37 to Ole Miss, and 20 to Arkansas. And for those thinking, "Oh, they're scared of Clemson" -- I don't think the Buckeyes give two chits about who they play--they had a better season, without question, and deserve the #1 spot. And before the argument comes in, "Oh, LSU starters only played one half all year..." So did the Buckeyes.

Again, you can’t call a win against Texas a top 10 win. You don’t have 5 wins over top 10 teams you have 5 wins over teams that were ranked top 10 at the time. rankings at the beginning of the season don’t matter. I will say your win against Alabama should be viewed better than Alabama’s current rank because you played them with tua.

OSU’s schedule rank is 18 per sagarin rankings. LSU’s is 10. Both have 3 top 10 wins. LSU has the end in top 30 wins. Their schedules are a lot closer than you think.

Also, while I **** on dangled all the time for the ACC being the worst major conference in football, Georgia already ruined this argument by losing to a team on Clemson’s schedule this year. Their record over the past 3 years is inflated by a lack of competition but that doesn’t mean they aren’t a great team. They scheduled an A&M that everyone thought would be good. They are expected to have to compete with FSU, Miami, V Tech, ND, etc and can’t help that they are dog ****.

Agreed on Clemson schedule--but, you cannot count Texas as anything. And LSU has 2 wins over top 10 teams, OSU 3. Saying LSU's schedule chits on OSU's is absolutely crazy.
