TRAINING
Highlights Version
Worst spotter ever on 365 Warm-Up
CGDP: 410x6 Rep PR!
CGDP 410x5
Detailed Version
Came in to the gym ready to destroy stuff. Was not feeling good when I looked around and saw none of my usual spotters
CGDP
3RM=425, 6RM=410 (today), 8RM=380
45x12, 95x8, 135x5, 185x3, 225x3, 275x1, 315x1,
365x1
You should really watch this on the video, I go through a detailed description of how I want him to come out with me and then on my grunt he would let go and that only if it is pinned to my chest should he even touch it after that. What he does after that is amazing to me. He holds the bar through the whole rep. Then the second time is only marginally better after I tell him again to not touch it I think this really through off the rest of the session
410x6 Rep PR!
410x5

Yeah I love it. But I like all fats
Hank was cranky because he just woke up. He will be Who Deying it up tonight if we let him stay up a little.
That they are, lets hope the bright lights don't spook them tonight
Thanks man.
Not knocking your workouts at all but do you ever get bored doing singles like that. I know that doing deadlifts that way is exhausting so I am not clowning on the rep scheme just curious. The Beast Journey to Elite

Half Ball Just laid over it to stretch out the back
Hangs I heard about doing this to decompress the spine so I tried it out. I just hang from a chin bar and stretch bending a little side to side and front to back. It felt really good and got some very weird looks so I'll probably keep doing it
Gym Idiots
It seems today was full of idiots
Plates under Heels
So I understand some people use plates under there heels when they squat to target the quads more, and I even understand when some people do it to decide if they should get olympic shoes. This one really got me though.
Me: Why are you guys squatting with 3 10lb plates under each heel? (thats right 3)
Idiot: It targets your hamstrings better, I thought you would know that
Me: Oh that makes perfect sense carry one
Wrong Way
So this Hispanic guy that I know pretty well (Carlos) is doing sprints on the track, but going the wrong way. There are signs every few feet telling you what days to go what direction.
Me: Hablo usted Ingles?
Carlos: I speak english *******.
Me: Then why are you going the wrong ****ing way
(he laughs and then starts going in the right direction)
Recovery Work
done at night
Ice - Back
NUTRITION

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

I have a chance to do some damage, the record for my age and weight class include: 1485 Total, 575 Squat, 390 Bench, 605 Deadlift.
I would like to walk away with at least 1 of these records. I think I have a solid chance at squat & Total and an outside chance at the deadlift
