Stories floating around about hospitals NOT purchasing vents that are available because they don't want them to go to waste after this thing blows over. So yes hospitals can be to blame in some situations from a procurement standpoint. With that said the federal government should be moving resources around to the hardest hit areas as they can and can hopefully pull the extra vents out and redistribute them as needed as other areas become hot spots.
