    Can you substitute some runny scrambled eggs for the raw eggs?
    Can you substitute some shredded cheese for the half and half?
    Can you substitute some bacon (cooked, not raw) for the protein powder?

    Scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon sounds better than raw eggs and some other stuff.

    You can put it on pieces of toast if you are not doing Keto.

    I’d read his articles on why he makes specific suggestions. His book unleashing the wild physique would be a good read but at 200-1000 dollars for a copy depending on condition it’s pricey.

To argue that we would need to establish a direct link. A personal anecdote: In my early 20s I had sky high levels of beta-HCG, but there was no tumor!

    There is certainly some truth to this, but it's hard to control for the nuances of individual tendencies toward atherosclerosis, heart disease in general, stroke, etc.

    I always like to think of the relationship between LDL and heart attacks by analogizing them with Gasoline and Matches/fire:

    If you filled a room with gasoline and an un-lit match... then there is literally ZERO risk of a fire. The issue happens when someone strikes the match.

    Similar to LDL... you could have SKY HIGH LDL.. but if you never incur any kind of arterial damage wherein the LDL lodges, you won't have a heart attack.

    It's all about risk. Having high LDL doesn't guarantee a heart attack, it just makes it way way more likely.

    There are so many food options out there, I personally don't rely daily on anything for nutrition that's the frequent subject of health debates (red/processed meat, eggs, fried food, etc.). I just eat all those things on occasion and in moderation. Saves me from reading a bunch of studies on either side.

    I posted two newer systematic reviews up thread. That thread you linked by Heisman2 mentions "Dietary cholesterol does impact cholesterol levels, on average 2.2 mg/dL per 100mg/day. There are hyperresponders (likely ~20% of the population) that will have an increase of ~3.9 mg/dL while the rest will be on the order of 1.5 mg/dL. ". I haven't checked those numbers personally, I prefer to go by own blood work.

    As for replacing saturated fat with polyunsaturated fat: that's always a good idea (assuming you want lower CVD risk) regardless of how many eggs you eat.

    If you do it while eating several eggs every day it may help mitigate the problem. If you do it without eating eggs LDL would most likely end up lower.

    About the link between LDL and CVD, from what I have read the link is pretty strong, see for example https://academic.oup.com/eurheartj/a...4/2313/5735221

    There's a small percentage of scientists that disagree but I'm not swayed by their arguments.
