Indeed, eggplant parmasean, home made pickled eggplant, lamb chops, liver, whole belly clams, octopus, scungilli salad and here's another two to irk the mainstream crowd...sufrite and lengua which are actually very good and heavily underrated.

For some reason I’ve never been able to get over the texture.

Even with calamari, it has that gummy mouth feel I just can’t get used to... maybe I haven’t had good versions of it but yeah, just never been a fan.

This. I still eat broccoli multiple times per week, but I have to really limit my servings and at least partially boil it along with taking beano. I used to bigger huge amounts of it but wound up with such bad bloat one night that I couldn't sleep all night and considered going to the ER.

most people don't know how to eat

my siblings and i grew up in a home where dinner was an event every night. add to that my dad owned a couple restaurants...so did his brother and my moms brothers. food is all we gathered for. i never had mcdonalds until age 12-13.

how i don't have a huge belly is beyond me, it was (and still is whenever i visit my parents) about food.

oh, and for me i feel lamb chops are seriously under rated.

As someone who has suffered with nighttime binging, i lost count of how many nights i have almost gone to the ER due to bloating from cruciferous veggies. Laying in bed feeling like I am gonna die. I love broccoli, but a good roasted blend of brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes with olive oil and rosemary, but i cannot stop eating it lol!

On the subject of broccoli, broccoli with macaroni in olive oil and garlic with red chili pepper flakes and some grated cheese...I also like cavatelli in sauce with cauliflower, both are awesome.

Broccoli and cheese sounds delicious right now, although I'm not sure how unpopular it is! Anyone tried it stirred into a baked potato?

A lot of these don't sound especially disliked though lol.

I’m partial to a nice Reuben or chicken cheesesteak myself.

The Reuben strikes me as one of those dishes that people either particularly like or dislike. I like them quite a bit, myself.
