Professional athletes and military people appear in skimpy calenders all the time, what's the difference with bodybuilders. It's not rude or obscene, it's not like there's fruit involved.

as has been said already, he's not naked, so in reality, a picture like this would not ever cause any controversy at all were it not for people wound too tight to understand that he's really not naked even if the lighting make it seem that way, and something seeming a certain way is not reason enough to go on a crusade to remind everyone about the moral responsibility that these guys need to have, while implying that they're not holding themselves to that standard, and thus igniting the uptight moral police section of the fan base and subconsciously influencing the other members of the fan base into thinking that said person is a trouble maker or is lacking common sense or morals... all because someone couldn't wrap their brain around the fact that a black man in dark posing trunks and partially silhouetted might have certain parts of his body blend into the shadows while the ******t light might accidentally highlight other parts of his body, particularly if he doesn't have a micropenis.

Cedric I watched you dominate NY Pro. I used to live in NYC last year. You will be top 3 worst case scenario in Arnold. You will be top 5 in 2013 Olympia. It is a matter of time until you start dominating. I can see you replicatin a 1998-1999 Ronnie physique. I love your physique. Please don't leave. Since you still don't have a contract, we would love to have you here. Your physique has the most fans in here along with Shawn Rhoden, Kai Greene and Phil Heath. There are quite a few athletes he has not yet been compared to so to agree with predictions of himself as the next Mr.Olympia would be arrogent of himself but as you can see, he has a better head on his shoulders than that.

For a pro in this sport, the worst thing is to be not talked about at all. Any publicity is good publicity, just look at Kai's profile. Kai threads typically are very long, mostly due to his controversial past. Ced's stunt is mild in comparison, but taking advantage of the same concept. But forget 'standards' as you put it, the only standard that is important to them is maximal exposure.

Yeah while Cedric obviously has some great potential, it's hard to watch him win the NYpro and then assume that he will do great things at the Olympia. We'll see how the hype is after the Arnold, depending on his placings.

I mean, the step from winning pro shows to placing in the top 6 at the Olympia is HUGE. Whole other ballgame.
