Khabib. This guy made all of those dangerous strikers/kick look soft/amateur/slow by the second round. Johnson, Barboza, McGregor, Poirier, they all went down the same path. Big difference between someone that holds you down and rests on you to win the round vs someone that has you on your toes trying to defend or switch positions from getting pummeled on. I wouldn't be mad with either one winning though.

I think Gaethje has a strong chance and my idiot brain thinks he can win, but thinking logically, Khabib will win.. I can't find a solid argument to pick Gaethje, Khabib is undefeated and absolutely dominant, there's no reason to not pick him.

Well he is not likely to finish Gaethje.

He had a hard time finishing Johnson and Horcher, Gaethje is tougher.

He couldn't finish Barboza or Iaquinta, both those guys are tough but Gaethje is tougher.

Poirier seemed to break mentally, resigned to defeat.

wut this is only a few hours away from me but there is no seats at the event. Prob would cost more than I would be willing to pay anyways but still. I think Florida would have been pretty open to allowing a live gate but I think dana white doesnt want to deal with the negative publicity he would get

just seen some clip that is weird, khabib looks surprised and relieved that he made weight. pretty odd, khabib seems like a guy that should pretty disciplined doesnt seem like parties or drinks or anything. IDK why hes now having a hard time to make weight.

Happens in boxing a lot though guy doesnt make weight first time but they get a second chance, so if it was only 1/4 pound not the end of the world.

It will be interesting. Gaethje is like a better version of iaquinta and khabib had issues getting the take down on him. But I think gaethje will eventually gas and get submitted in the 4th or lose on points. I love both fighters
