I don't get to the Misc as much as I would like, but I can't believe I never saw this thread before.

After much hype I finally watched Martyrs last night... Didn't really care for it all that much. I just kept thinking, why doesn't the chick wrap the chain around her hand (before she was too weak), and knock that dude out or wrap it around his neck and choke him to death. The end was pretty cool, avoided spoilers and I didn't see that coming at all.

Will watch all the recommendations in the OP and follow this thread.

    good mom!

All time favorites are the Friday the 13th's. A little bummed the OP left out Manhattan, better than 7 imo

GTFO! part 8 sucked. I still watch it like once every 2 months, but it sucks. There are deaths that were cut for being too violent that neevr made it out of cutting room... maybe on youtube now or some sht, I dunno... but I'm waiting to see it how it was intended

Not ready for this. I originally hated the idea, Evil Dead 2 being one of my favorite movies, but its starting to look pretty damn good. I'll see it, but its gonna be hard to like it. Still havent seen the friday the 13th remake.

I saw the F13 remake cuz the guy who plays Jason was mad fukkin cool and got wasted on whiskey w me and saved me from taylor fruity mayne or whatever - michael myers jackass

Some of the Leprechauns were pure gold, comedic horror or not, and Warwick Davis was great! He made that character kinda scary and funny at the same time, kind of like a Freddy Krueger.

Leprechaun 3 cracks me up... but I love them all

    Childs play 1-3 were awesome
they would be if this ******* didn't have to be in

The first time I watched it I thought the ending was a copout to keep from having to answer the question everyone was thinking, if that makes sense. Love the movie though.

The ending was actually my favorite part. I couldn't decide if what she saw was so terrifying that the old lady couldn't handle it, or so awesome she couldn't wait to see it.

Part 9 was soooo bad... I was like 11 when it came out - saw it in theatres and was PISSED... until the last scene... I almost sht myself in the theatre when Freddy's glove came out. It made up for the corny ass movie and corny ass demons...

I also didn't notice the first time I saw it that it was the necronomicon from Evil Dead in it. Pretty cool when I realized it later. I only watch Jason goes to Hell once every 2 years.

Watched a few movies on Netflix recently

Grave Encounters 2 - Dissapointing. First one was actually entertaining. Second one is just a money grab. Annoying characters. Bad plot.
    Hollow - Stay away.

    That's it.

good one i personally like on netflix right now is V/H/S. its like 5 short films but they are all pretty unique and interesting.

there is also another movie on there that isnt really a horror but a creepy suspense type movie... i cant think of the name but some dude locks a girl in a room with a piece of rotting meat and she gets so hungry she eventually eats it. i got the strangest boner but it was pretty good. reps for name.

edit: thats not the plot to the entire second movie thats just a single part

there is also another movie on there that isnt really a horror but a creepy suspense type movie... i cant think of the name but some dude locks a girl in a room with a piece of rotting meat and she gets so hungry she eventually eats it. i got the strangest boner but it was pretty good. reps for name.

edit: thats not the plot to the entire second movie thats just a single part
Aren't they making a sequel to V/H/S ? I'm like 80% sure, but too lazy to google right now, starting a SC2 game.
Stream dat der FFXIV, watch me be a noob.

I had no idea what that movie was going to be about the first time a watched it and it impressed me. Had I known what it was going to be about, I probably would have never watched it. Part 2 is kind of crazy. Not bad for a 2nd

when you say part 2 are you talking about "let me in"? Not sure if you're a reader but "let the right one in" novel is fuking really good, way more disturbing than the movie.

just watched "the thompsons" which is the sequel to "the hamiltons". I actually preferred it to the prequel just because it was a vampire film that I would expect to see, didn't really care for the slow pace and twist to "the hamiltons". "The thompsons" is just ok but I still prefer it over "the hamiltons"

also watched "chopping mall" today and that shiet was cool and funny, just a good 80s B movie that's entertaining, have to laugh everytime the robot says "thank you and have a nice day"

if I'm not too tired, I'll probably watch the original "the crazies" tonight

Watched Turistas as well. I am kind of a sucker for those lost hiker type movies.

Also, has a cell phone even had reception in a horror movie?? lol

i DL 28 days & weeks later for tonight... for some reason i thought i seen them, but got mixed up with a somewhat recent "of the dead" movie where they were picking out celeb lookalikes from a rooftop & picking them off for fun.

dawn of the dead i'm thinking, but not 100% sure.

    Dawn of the Dead?
    Land of the Dead?
    Survival of the Dead?
    Diary of the Dead?
    Day of the Dead?
    Dance of the Dead?
    Revenge of the Dead?

Edit: Just realized that George Romero spends a lot of time thinking up names for his movies.
