He's still super early, just BETA testing. ugasar got an early beta set because he has the following to justify Eric sending him the product.
However, the rest of the beta test group (me included) are on a rain-check while Eric sorts out some shipping issues he ran into. I believe the beta-test for the rest of the folks who signed up will come back in a month or so.
As far as going public, zero idea... again it's super early for him, he's trying to fine-tune the logistical component before he commits.

Museum of Ice Cream PB&P
Peanut Buttery Ice Cream, Chocolately Covered Pretzel Pieces and a Peanut Butter Swirl
Apparently this is a Target-only brand, and they recently released new packaging a couple new flavors, so I decided to check it out.
I heard some negative responses of them before, but I figured perhaps the updates were also going to be on quality as well.
The base is a passable peanut butter flavor, though more on the creamy side than a sharp PB. It is not dense like a high-end ice cream, but it's not as light as something like breyer's... i'd put it in the middle. Flavor quality seemed good, nothing very artificial, but i would call it a bit 'uninspired'... it was kind of a bland PB. Still, PB is hard to not enjoy regardless.
There is a 'swirl', apparently, but for me I only got a small amount of it so far, right at the top. I wasn't a huge fan, but again, PB is hard to make taste bad, so I have to gauge it against other more premium renditions and say this is super mediocre. When I think of the richness of an S&S or even a Ben and Jerry's pint... this isn't close to that.. and also the shape/texture of the swirl when I did get it was oddly artificial... not the taste, but the presentation, like a condensed ribbon instead of a messy glob of real, quality PB.
I'd say the chocolate pretzel pieces were the best part of this. Good crunch, good chocolate flavor, and there is a lot in there, too.
Overall kind of an average pint. I don't think it's bad, also not good....
I'll give it a C. I can eat it, it's fine... but i'm far from impressed. Again, if you can't make PB in a pint tastes REALLY good, I can't give it a high rating, and they didn't do enough to elevate it."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

So Delicious OatMilk - Peanut Butter & Raspberry
Oatmilk Ice Cream... well, ok, i guess?
Honestly... this went better than I thought it would. So Delicious, in my opinion, is top-level with their Cashewmilk bases, but having never had an Oatmilk one before, I really didn't know what to expect. The cashewmilk stuff ends up nice and creamy, although it does take a while to temper... but I do enjoy it from time to time.
The same thing happens here: it needs a little tempering before you can scoop it freely, which isn't necessarily a bad thing IMO, it just lasts longer.
Taste-wise, the base is fairly generic. It is creamy, much like their cashewmilk ones, though you do get a bit of... I don't know... starchy-ness in there. Not a grainy oat feel, just different than the nut-milk ones they put out. The taste was not overly sweet or overdone, in fact I could have used a little more, but I did like the texture overall.
The raspberry has a sharp, tart flavor, and it's not overly sweet. Thus far I have gotten a LOT of it, and the same goes for the PB, which is great as it makes the neutral base more of a means to cut through or blend with the flavors, so you forget it's kind of bland.
The PB is actually pretty damn good... tastes very natural, non-artificial, and again there's a lot of it.
I can't say I'll buy this again just because I think there are many better options out there, BUT if you cannot handle dairy, it's worth a shot for sure.
I'd give it a B-Last edited by AdamWW; 06-08-2019 at 05:47 PM.

The one that has surprised me with its flavor in the last week is not even close to high end. It's only 1.99 at the store and just under 500 calories for the whole pint cause it combines a low calorie vanilla "ice cream" with a lemon sorbet. And it's a bit of a gimmick but still, I'm finding I am enjoying the Sour Patch ice cream.
I wasn't sure how the flavors would go with it being the combination of vanilla with the lemon but it works out well, at least for me. May be a little driven by the fact it's so hot and the cold dessert is a nice treat. Still, the lemon flavor was a good choice. The pint also uses red berry swirl along with very tiny bits of sour patch kids. The bits are very small and not the best when trying to get a piece as far as comparing it to the original candy. I kinda wish there were even bigger pieces though hard to say how that would go sitting in the ice cream.
Now the red berry swirl, that is one of the better parts of the pint. The flavor combined with the base tasted great and I'm hoping there is more. The top layer had the most and I see a bit on the side but will have to wait as I don't know when I'll get to the rest of the pint. So, not a high quality ice cream but honestly, one that I like. Other's may have a different reaction.Gym Max: 229/126/305
