There’s a difference. One is watching for crime and they call the police to take care of it.

These dudes are already in zones surrounded by police and carrying weapons.

If they had the right to protect property I’d probably be all for it. But they’re literally not adding to anything and should find a new method to be more effective.

The police are detailed to certain areas. In the neighborhood i work in, we were detailed to three specific areas, while the rest of the neighborhood was up for grabs.
