Funny, I was on listservs and nntp before most people heard of the net. Thought it was weird when message boards came out and you had to remember to go to them instead of just reading what was delivered to your email inbox. Now I'm just an old dinosaur who hates all this new superficial media stuff... LOL

We have our nightly chat threads at regular misc now. They won't delete them, though, so participate at your own risk.

Anyway chatting becomes addictive and then you end up humongous post amounts even though all you do is chit post, like myself.

I'm in the situation I'm in now because of risk taking. Any risks I take for the next 16-18 months need a better payoff than reading posts on the Big Misc.
