I dont know Minnesota laws but the textbook definition of murder involves premeditation. Nobody in their right mind could say this was premeditated and the man was on ******** and meth. The officer deserves to lose his job for excessive force but the death was accidental.

Wrong. Premeditation is just for first, and all it takes is a second to establish it. That's settled law at the SC level. An example I remember is a scuffle where one guy grabbed a gun from his jacket and the other man got it, he clearly didn't even know it was there - but he gained control of it and (this was on tape) paused for a second and then shot him dead. first degree because he obviously thought about it. It doesn't have to be some months long scheme or anything.

But whatever, that's just first - which isn't being pressed atm. Like I said it would be aggressive, but I don't think absurd. Third though, again, seems like a total slam dunk. "Depraved heart" murder as it's sometimes referred to.

You have a higher chance of being shot and killed in DC than in Syria. Best believe the people unfortunate enough to live there are in edge, having rioters/antifa mixed in with actual protesters doesn’t help.

Her position is largely honorary. She has no real authority, and federal law enforcement has jurisdiction there. DC has a metropolitan department as well that serves the citizens but much of DC outside the capitol is pretty bad.
