    This. I have short inserts and absolutely hate them. Praying that when I actually get some muscle on my body they will look better.

    Found a meet in my state March 16th, figure I should just do it to get my feet wet before I do something more serious.

    Also that'd be the end of Coan/Philipi DL routine so it'd line up perfectly.

    USAPL is the most legit IMO. It's a little rigid but it's drug tested, the judging is strict, and you get medals like the olympics!

    I used to be really heavy and I cut a ton of weight. This one is more about getting leaner than I've ever been, but I kinda feel like sh!t as of late and I'm kinda in recomp mode it's been going to slow. Damn holiday grub.

    this, a diet break ever 2-3 months wont hurt.
    You are not a fragile ornament ready to collapse into an exhausted mass of goo simply because you squatted more than once in a 7-day week.

    I had the same idea a year ago. Turns out after dropping ~120lbs over a 3 year period with few diet breaks, my body had no interest in dropping below ~14% BF. Depending on how long you've been dieting, I might consider a lean gaining phase to not only add some muscle, but more importantly restore your metabolism/hormones. I wish I hadn't wasted a year trying to push though a crashed endocrine system.
