Thanks Carl! I am building a freaking forest of cat towers, trees, and scratchers, srs. It's on like donkey kong!
Yes, yes it does, now I am unstoppable, bwah ha ha ha! (Except when I take a break to take a Saturday nap, I do like my Saturday naps. )

~~The Life and Times of Hammie~~
Yes I got my circular saw yesterday! Unboxed it, read instructions srs, and actually needed to add drop of oil to one part and didn't have any on hand so wasn't able to put blade on, got oil today. Anyways watched some vids and read up on safety and how exactly you need to set up your wood and build a saw guide and all dat. Explains a lot when you can go on youtube and watch people actually using something like that since I have never used one. (Been cutting everything with a jig or a handsaw which has been a royal PITA.) I'm ready! :: insert spongebob squarepants here :: Had to drive all day today for work so was not home. Tomorrow I'm gonna try it out. Also gotta get one of my work trucks repaired at a shop by my house so I'm gonna swing by Home Depot tomorrow and load up my truck with a nice supply of wood to haul home. Got everything measured as far as dimensions for how many boards I can get out of each piece of plywood and 2x4s and figured out actual costs of how much it is to build certain things. Found great deal for sisal rope on Amazon, brb giant freaking box of that to save money instead of buying 50' packs at Home Depot, brought price per foot wayyy down. Also scoped out the plywood at HD and going for the huge ass 4x8' sheets this time, apparently HD will cut those in half right there so it's not ridiculous to get into the basement, TIL, thanks HD! Will start with scratchers to improve my skills with everything a bit and not take on a huge tower as my first thing. Gonna build a bunch of stuff through winter and see if I can sell it come spring/summer. Gotta do something to support my Quest Bar habit.Current PRs:

Cannot wait to see all of your creations!! In for squat clogs
Youtube is awesome for figuring out how to use stuff like that.
No doubt you'll be able to sell the cat castles. They are so awesome!
Have fun and be careful with that saw!My journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159386641

~~The Life and Times of Hammie~~
Ham's got wood! (Hang on, giggling like a school girl here. ) Ahem, went to Home Depot today with my truck and had scoped out the wood situation yesterday. Was about to grab a bunch of sheets of a particular kind of 4'x8' plywood but perched right above it was one I hadn't noticed yesterday and was PERFECT for what I was doing (the one I was gonna buy was damn near perfect but this was the wood of all woods.) Anyway these sheets are like 7 feet up off the floor and I flail my trex arms do tippy toes tippy toes and am like sonofabish I can't even come close to grabbing this. So I waddle up to the lumber desk and ask for some assistance due to my trex arm problem. They are like ok no problem, we get a lot of trex armed customers here, we'll get Manmore Mike. Dude is like 6'5" srs and I'm thinking this guy is gonna need a ladder because in my world I need a ladder to get the friggin' cereal off the fridge damnit. No, Manmore Mike has giraffe arms of peace and no ladder is needed. Inspector gadget arms to the rescue. He also cut all the boards in half for me no problem and they came out damn near perfect. Das it man, using your green giant status for good not evil. Also bought ten 2x4s in nice condition, yes I am that person in HD doing the one eye closed thing with the boards serious as can be with my trex arms. Got my saw all set up and am ready to go. Now we build kingdoms.Current PRs:

LMAO, right now we do this daily thing where I put him over my shoulder, he hangs up there like a sack of potatoes, and I speed walk around the house making race car sounds. He would chill up there all day if I let him.
Got to work with my new craftsman circular saw yesterday - IT'S AWESOME!!! Man that makes things so much easier to do, no more painstakingly trying to cut large boards with a jigsaw and busting ass cutting all the 2x4s in a miter box. BRB forearms aching and sweating ass off with miter box all day. I got a ton of my wood cut down to size yesterday. Also built my own saw guide which makes this so much easier and can get a perfectly straight cut every time. Saw cuts like butter. Very safe and easy to use too. Will be working with it more today.Current PRs:

Didn't know what Cuban press was and had to Google it...I realized I do something similar as a warmup on push day and just had no idea what it was called (I always just called it rotator cuff warmup haha). It sounds like it should be a device for making paninis out of Cuban sandwiches.

LMAO! Pretty sure I make up half the names for stuff like frog squats, cuban press is a real thing yes and now I want sammiches!
Hey Irish! I'm power-tooling up a storm, haha. Working on building some scratcher posts to start with to get used to new circular saw and get more efficient methods measuring, drilling, sanding. Going pretty good so far! Want to make everything look great and be 100% pet safe of course. Learning stuff, building up my skills, hell yeah. LOL maybe ONE would be a good compromise? I have two and even with that cat hair control is a daily thing.

Hamster! Do you think shipping costs would be prohibitive if I were to order a kitteh structure from you once you're making them for sale? I need to get back on Toby's good side. He's been punishing me for working too much by occasionally pooping in inappropriate places.

Awesome workout! Got some heavy wt on the DL and had tons of energy for pull ups of peace. Very happy at a body wt around 180 I can knock out so many pull ups - BOOM! Speaking of giant hams, went to Home Depot today and apparently they have those motorized scooters. Got surrounded by 3 hams in scooters thinking oh god this is how I die. Man those people are NOT good at maneuverability. That's scary to think now they can also be driving aound weilding chainsaws at the same time.
Got a rotisserie chicken and watched some netflix. Warning, the movie Melancholia is supposed to be an end of the world, death and destruction movie, however, it is the most boring movie ever created srs, would not recommend. Nothing happened the first 45 minutes, fast forwarded through next hour, googled it to make sure I had the right movie, I did, watched last 3 minutes, very boring.
