Apples to oranges but - ever seen the production levels of the KR League of Legends tournaments? PogChamp af.
That's not really how it works though, every top youtuber or twitch streamer I've seen ONLY gets bigger. And the ones who switch to variety streaming like Soda and Reckful get alot bigger. There's been a couple who shrunk but I can't recall who.
I get being irked about it. Like I said, there's a twitch girl who literally gets hundreds of dollars a day for playing some faceroll game, and then standing up to flash her (incredible) ass. brb working out of my skull on a roof in the middle of summer and getting injured for a quarter of that.
But truth is - entertainment is a huge deal and that's not even news. Twitch is entertainment.

LUL someone gave LegendaryLea a 100,000 bit tip the other day... brb kids starving in Africa but instead of helping them I'll give thousands of dollars worth of bits to some cam girl so that she'll say hi to me, and then forget about me a day later when someone else donates even more money than I did.

lol... i never heard of the IRL section but yeah... were like 3 girls in sports bras, smh.
on the flip side there was some girl fully clothed doing like a cooking tacos thing which is actually really cool, i like that idea, thats what this should be used for, not skanky trash showing cleavage for losers doing nothing

Yeah I saw one on irl where the girl did strip dances to donations under the guise of exerciser. I was like...lol?
Angrypug has a guy who has donated 120k+ to him over the last year not including "irl gifts"
The donators name is AC_Royale google him, there is a video out there where the guy donates like 80k in 1 day to Ninja.
Owns some large company in EuropeBelief without evidence is a fools game.

God damn I hate that so much. I usually wanna see a chill stream with a real down to earth person, but most popular streamers are so obnoxious its giving me a headache. Worst of all is that most of them just pretend, fake exaggerated reactions all the time. Same with youtubers now a days where everyone is just a copycat. People apparently like that but then again its probably mostly young teens. Twitch and youtube make me feel older than I actually am.

I initially disregarded this thread and a guy from my work discord posted some streamer named Pokket and I opened it to see what kind of stuff she was streaming and apparently she was just fukking walking around town (barhopping? didnt watch enough to find out). Then I asked wtf I was watching on Twitch and he said "IRL". I happen to see this thread pop to the top and open it, perfectly relevant for what I just experienced.

that is absolutely disgusting. Giving these nerds this kind of money for playing video games 8 hours a day is mind blowing.. pussyfied generation doesn't know what the value of a dollar is, and of course the little cucks accept it thinking they deserve it. Id never accept this kind of donation was I a streamer, fuk u think im doing, curing cancer?
And this gives false idea to the younger audience thinking this chit is acceptable and can be a "career".*4 crew*

That's such an obvious lie lmao. Yeah bro, I'm sure you'd stand on principle and refund a $60k donation from some depraved Taiwanese trillionaire.
Besides, if you are so morally upright, wouldn't it make more sense to accept the sum and donate it to cancer research rather than simply refunding it, knowing full well it will be spent in some other equally frivolous fashion?

I mean, I believe I would. I have integrity. I haven't asked my parents for money since I got my first job at 15 years old, earned my own pocket money.
That large of a donation is a very tempting hand-out, come on, its basically money falling from the sky for doing absolutely nothing, and if I was in that situation I would still rethink it, but I firmly believe in my stance on that. Its simply wrong.
Taking the money and donating it is an interesting idea. But, first of, its not my money to donate in the first place, regardless if it was "donated". Second, if I really did go with it, I would donate it to a local hospital. Fukin lol at cancer researches. There probably is already a cure, unreleased to public because it makes much more sense to milk the population for billions of dollars of treatment instead of releasing the cure.
Perhaps im only bullchiting myself, who knows. If I was 10 years younger I wouldnt think twice about taking that money.*4 crew*

I have no real issue with streamers who are actually good at the game that they play. If someone is a legit e-sports pro(queue the laughter) and is getting paid to stream, then it's not a problem in my eyes. The issue is from the chaturbate whores who have infested Twitch(especially due to the IRL section) and now are conning thousands of dollars from the most beta dudes under the guise of being nerdy, being a gamer girl, etc... You get girls like the one I posted a picture of a week ago, where she basically sits around in a bikini doing spread eagle hand stands for thousands of dollars in donations.

I agree 100% with the IRL thing . It's basically decent to good looking chicks sitting in front of camera talking about nothing or doing their make up or I have even seen a few just on their phone not saying anything just sitting there or laying there in short shorts and a skimpy top and getting hundreds of dollars in donations . The rest of it is mainly DOTA , LOL and Cancer Strike , although you can come across some decent streams . There are only really two streamers I watch on a constant basis and the rest I just sorta drop in and out if they are playing a game I like .

Have you actually sat down and done it? I used to feel that why (sorta) and I started watching walkthroughs of games I either wanted to play or had but never finished. It's actually enjoyable. Especially watching people play games like NCAA football or Madden, and watching how they build their teams through franchise/dynasty mode.
