So I am currently taking Optimum Nutrition pre-workout 20 minutes before I workout. During my workout I just drink water. I really don't think it's safe to take my pre workout during my workout as well. Can anyone recommend a good supplement that you take during your workout.

Is there any particular reason for wanting to take an Intra? Is it just for taste? Then you can just have some water or some flavored water.
You can also have some Amino/BCAA drink if you wish. Many people go that route for an Intra.

There's tons of products you could take during your workout. Me personally, I like to us cannabol. Everyone's different. Some people say it's a waste to use a product during workouts and others love it. I like to use one and cannabol works for me.

What are you looking for in an intra workout supplement? Looking for amino's the help with recovery/endurance, carbs to help with performance, or looking for better pumps?
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Take your pwo prior and your optimum nutrition after your workout. You don't need anything intra at all unless you're working out fasted in which some carbs may assist for longer workouts.Originally Posted by ccurran86

I'd look at SizeOn like mentioned above.
Another product that is typically billed as a Post, but I drink it intra-workout is Finish Line. Gives you your full doses of Beta Alanine, Creatine HCL, Betaine and LCLT plus BCAAs and Glutamine with L-Alanine. Solid all-in-one product.
