I super set the curls and shurgs to speed up the workout at the end. Dunno why I opted not to do 5x10 on squats...just following form from this week of just doing sets of 5. Deads and squats felt good, especially since this was a morning workout. Also, no pre-workout buzz this morning! Guy I train with gave me some of his ammonia caps...my plan was to huff one on my last set of deads. When someone came over to watch me lift I didnt want to look like a crackhead huffing something...so I never got to use it
heres my deadlift vid..needed 5 to tie last months reps, got 6! accoring to the rep calculator my 1RM should be somewhere around 540..

Well, it wasnt a great workout...it was just decent. Last set on bench I needed 3 for a PR..1 was it today! After about 2 mins I hit it for 1 more rep. I think the problem this cycle has been that I skipped the deload week..I skipped it to fit in another cycle before vacation and I feel like some of its being half assed. I dropped the BBB sets of 10 for sets of 5..ehh. Deload will be next week, only workout I'll be getting in is a lot of walking and pushups.
Gonna stick with the x5 for BBB the rest of the week.
Tomorrow is squats, gonna pull deads heavy..then Im going to do rack pulls. Since my gym doesnt have a rack...Im gonna do these on the smith machine while standing on steps. I knew that smith machine would come in handy one dayMy 5/3/1 progress can be found here.

Also did a super set on front squats and good mornings...only did 2 sets 10 with 135.
Pretty good workout today! Felt strong, solid haha! I noticed today I bump my left arm on the squat rack when I go down. doing the reps, they felt parallel. But after watching the video I believe I could have gone down an inch more. Deadlifting, I narrowed my stance alittle, and this seemed to help with the pull. Rack pulls in the smith, I kinnda felt like a ****, alot of people were staring because I was standing on two cardio steps stacked together.
All in all, not too bad on a low carb day
Last month I did three reps, today I got four!!

I used to do bald every year ... but I'm enjoying my look right now. Kinda fauxhawk with shorter than normal sides... Ees nice!
Hah! It's not work, tbh. I've grown one already at work (got to be around 4" long, maybe longer), and nobody had a problem with it. The woman I'm seeing now, though, has made it quite clear that I would not see her for the duration of my beard growing stint.
