I learned that I don't need to go to the store nearly as often..
I am loving the 6 foot distance thing. Not a fan of strangers in my personal space anyway.
Don't even get me started on the delivery to curbside thing, i don't know how I existed without that.
I have more, but I'll save some for you old Bastards

In my opinion the freedoms being lost due to COVID-19 aren't so much about temporary stay-at-home orders to prevent needless deaths. The freedoms being lost due to COVID-19 are related to the deeper long-term attacks that politicians are making while everyone is worried about their immediate needs.

I know you've heard/read this before. I understood it to be from Ben Franklin in the context of taxes, but Jefferson said it too. The reason I repeat it here is to demonstrate the genius of the forefathers in understanding the basic themes for this great experiment, the United States of America.
He who gives his freedom for safety gets none of them. Thomas JeffersonEnvy is ignorance. Imitation is suicide.

They talk an awful lot about it. Don’t you think.
I think it would be a bad idea to ignore it.
Remember when seatbelt law violationS were promised to never be a primary reason to stop a car.
Not a perfect analogy, but the point is, there a ton of people in the 535 that would take them tomorrow if they could. If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.

You do know who they are, any damn politician who opens their mouth about gun restrictions and eroding those rights.
And don't believe everything you read and hear about Vegas, there is more to that story than we were told and it was quickly swept under the rug. And bumpstocks weren't the cause as what I have read most the rifles he used didn't have one and those things actually suck and are not very accurate at all. I "had" one and have used it a few times at the range and it's a fukking joke. You can do better with your thumb and a belt loop. Anyone with a high enough vantage point can easily do the same thing with a regular old semi auto rifle, hell even a lever or bolt action gun can be utilized real damn fast.
Personally i'd be more concerned about our own military firing on us if called to do so, it has happened in the past and the past always repeats itself."You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, well, I don't have one of those."

If you listen to the video it sounds like an automatic weapon. Shooting into a large "kill pit" with an inaccurate weapon doesn't matter if you're just trying to inflict the most damage.
I don't blame the bumpstock for this but I gotta think if that guy was limited to lever actions, bolt actions and semi autos with a clip limit he wouldn't have had that kill count for innocent concertgoers.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Presidential elections are over-rated, which contradicts what I thought about Presidents between Clinton and Obama, you are better off depending who represents your state.
Lessons? PFFT! Sounds like the status quo commercials these days.
I kept myself strong and healthy to not be a victim of status quo BS. They don't teach ya that in school darling.

I did my first mid pandemic grocery pickup order at WalMart today. We had been experimenting with grocery pickup before with mixed results.
It was an odd little dance, the teenage gal approached me but had a little 'please keep 6 feet away' nametag thing so I was retreating from her. She said "I can load your groceries, or you can load your groceries but we both can't load your groceries so you have to choose." I literally felt like I was in some future dystopian Sci Fi movie. I wasn't going to let her load my groceries but I noticed that they had substituted a bag of potatoes for a bag of lemons. Me and my Daughter love seltzer water with fresh lemon from our Soda Stream. So now we have fresh potato water? WTF is that?Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.
