Yes, I love PB too. Hell, I used to put it on chicken all the time. Unfortunately, non-primary source fats usually add up to my current 45g, lol. Starting to increase in the coming weeks though. I'm trying out your marble cake today. I'll let you know how it goes.

Exactly how you would expect it to, I guess. Lol, its not a crazy combination to me, but I guess it sounds crazy to others. The real winner though is PB/mustard/chicken stir fry combo. So good!

11-10-12 Smolov jr Squat - Final day

    squats
    45x3
    135x3
    185x3
    225x1
    275x3
    275x3
275x2 - missed the third rep
    265x3
    265x3
265x2 - akward third rep. my back felt tight so I called it a day with squats

    bench
    185x14 - this surpised me
    185x10
    185x10

    db curls
    3x10

    dips
    2x12

    misc.
So as smolov jr wraps up, I must say, it has been a pretty cool experience. It was rough to say the least, but I'm happy with the fact that I got 2 sets of 275 for triples. I feel I could have gotten a third set had my set up been better. I can't complain though. I'll be deloading this week and squatting next sunday to see what's up with my max!

pumpkin cake w vanilla frosting and pb - before all toppings

after adding snickers, more pb and chocolate chips

    funfetti vanilla proats w bananas

toasted chicken sandwich with steak sauce, cajun hashbrowns, broccoli, spooky tart

toasted chicken sriracha and ketcup bagel, onion rings, broccoli

junk bowl - chocolate base, pb, miniwheats, puffed wheat, marshmallow pebbles, banana, chocolate chips, spidey tart - forgot I had these lol

awesome sesh today. TONS of squats, I dig it. Interested to see how your 1 rep max has increased. what was it before? Also, how did you like the funfetti oats? make any additions/changes besides the obvious banana garnish?

Best ever was 335 for a double. I was a fat 210 ish though . At this bodyweight, I believe 285x2 is my all time best. I was squatting 3 plates last offseason for sets of doubles and singles, but I was 190 then on my old scale, which would put me at 195 ish on the new scale. (I'm about 180 now)

So I rocked them with 60g. oats, 30g. funfetti mix, 30g. vanilla whey and almond milk. They were pretty nomnomnom

    Hai guize!!

Just wanted to pop in and let you guys know I'm still alive. I've been doing a LOT of studying and very little lifting/cooking. I've been eating very boring, packaged stuff like pop tarts, granola bars, protein bars, shakes, etc. I'm getting back into the swing of things lifting wise tomorrow with a little squat sesh to see how that feels post-SJR . And after talking to a few people, I've decided to run 5/3/1 BB until I pepper in another SJR cycle for squats. Time to get dem wheels!! Looking forward to posting an epic update soon.

Cold pop tarts and protein shakes are boring to me, brotha

Quest bars are not so boring, unless I'm at work with a client. I prefer them warmed in the micro. The new pb cups are legit though!

And after talking to a few people, I've decided to run 5/3/1 BB until I pepper in another SJR cycle for squats. Time to get dem wheels!! Looking forward to posting an epic update soon.
Yay another person running 5/3/1 BBB. How are you setting up your accessories?

The way I understand it, is that you do one 5x10 accessory after your BBB sets. Also, I've got the ebook if you dont have it.

That's correct, but from what I understand, you do a 5x10 with the same core lift starting with 50% on the first week and then increasing the 2nd and 3rd weeks. I may be wrong though lol. And yes, I have the ebook

Yep, well I keep the BBB sets a constant 50% but you can do 50-60% somewhere in that range. The weight seems light at first but after five sets its a little exhausting. I've got one more squat workout until I finish my first cycle (well, start the deload portion).

    11-17-12 Squat max test day

    squats
    45x5
    135x5
    185x3
    225x2
    275x1
    295x1
    305x1
    315x0 - aw poo
    225x5 (3 sets)

    misc.
Well, I'm squatting over 300 again, which is good, although I really wanted 3 wheels . I am surprised that I didn't get it because 305 flew up. I can almost guarantee myself 3 wheels before I run smolov again, and then I'm gunning for 3 and a quarter .

My camera is messed up, so I can't upload any pics at the moment. I promise I'll get on that as soon as I fix it.

This is weird, it's like everyone I know who ran SJR over the past month didn't get what they were expecting out of it. Maybe we should just stop lifting altogether

ahhhh, too bad you failed ure goal, but IMO you probably would have gotten it if u were fresh. I had a similar 1RM trial a few weeks ago, and by the time I got to 315 i had already done like 4 "heavy" singles so It was harder than it should have been (and It pinned me to the safeties...worst feeling ever). 305 is still no joke so GJDM. and 5/3/1 now? awesome, I love it so far.

doubling the expected reps on the work set, love it! Pressing is my weakest link ....also, was the crust home made for those pizzas? and are cinnamon roll tarts any good or does B.S. Cinnamon fill that void well enough.
