You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I must admit, everytime I see that Rogue bench I literally get wood. Dat pad gap when flat, beefy looking steel, three foot design, quick ladder adjustment, and 17.5" from the ground make it an excellent choice. Next to finding a cheap 5435 local, that bench is on my future list when/if more funds become available.

A few Ivanko plates for cheap in the Chicago area:
https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/spo/6045895022.html
^^A three hour drive (one way) for that Hammer Strength bench is tempting. Looks like it docks with their racks. If I had a Hammer Strength rack then I'd defintely go for it.
EDIT: That bench didn't last long. Somebody picked it up this morning. Great deal for somebody!Last edited by swimmer32; 03-16-2017 at 07:52 AM.

Just throwing this out there, for the money the Rep Fitness bench is a great piece. I have been using mine for about 3 months now and could not be happier with it. It's also 17.5", ladder adjustment, very nice and beefy design. I did a ton of research and found a lot of great reviews of it before my purchase.

HOIST Mi6 Training System
A Hoist Mi6 popped up on CL in my area - https://peoria.craigslist.org/spo/6045111704.html
Not sure how good it is but seemed interesting.... and I rarely see interesting equipment in my area.
Seems to sell for about $3k new, so a fair discount if someone is interested.

according to some old reviews, the precor s3.23 is too narrow, but if it's a good unit then this might be a pretty good deal:
https://kansascity.craigslist.org/spo/6029312110.html
precor s3.23 with adjustable bench and a couple mats for $1250.
i'd buy it, but i have no use and don't want to drop that kind of cash. though it's tempting just because it's supposedly short enough to sit in my basement.
EDIT: just read that it's 150 weight stacks with 1:2 ratio...so maybe not that great in the long run...Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

When does their new line come out? That's exciting, I will have to see what they come up with. I am kicking myself for not buying their SS power bar when I got the bench. Shipping was only an additional $10 as to where if I order just the bar now, it's $40.
For me, the price is what got me on the bench. It was between that and the IM Superbench, which is 20" tall compared to 17.5". Not an issue for me, but my wife is only 5'3" so I went with the lower. I also scoured Craigslist for 6-8 months and nothing worth while popped up, which is not surprising. I am in a fairly rural area of Michigan. All farms around here, lol.
On a side note, great price on their short power rack...$169

If the upgradeable stacks aren't discontinued to add on to the Precor, then I think that's a pretty decent deal with all that's included (if everything is in good shape and you might even be able haggle with them a bit), but it depends on your needs/wants and you can always flip it, personally I would use it for some secondary accessory movements here and there after my main lifts, but that's just me.Last edited by Deep-Voiced-One; 03-17-2017 at 04:27 PM.

Pro star pulldown/row
Anyone used one of these pro star pulldowns? The pulley is fully adjustable to do pulldowns or rows or curls. Guy wants $250.

appreciate the advice. if i decide i'm interested i'll check to see if upgraded stacks are still available. for now probably not
prostar makes high quality stuff. I have a 0-90 bench, a GHD and a pair of bumper plate racks (they used to be a Kansas City company) and it's all heavy duty, overbuilt stuff. i'd definitely buy at $250. awhile back i seen someone buy one for their house. they liked it: i believe it uses a belt instead of a cable for additional awesomesauceDomicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

Ivanko OBS @ $299
raleigh.craigslist (dot) org/spo/6048041136 (dot) html
I stopped by Super Fitness Gym Equipment up in Burlington, NC today to pick up a few more Ivanko revolver 45s. After the commentary on this forum I decided that I didn't want to save up to buy new. While their prices weren't great for the plates/ condition at $2/ lb, they had in a shipment of about 75 barbells, 10 of which were Ivanko bars. I got to handle a few, and almost bought an old very patina'd (sp?) OBXS. The rest as far as I could tell were all OBS. The 3 I handled were all in pretty good shape, with the exception of the knurling near the collars was not existent. I hope one of you can benefit from it and save me from equipment forum hell since I some how made it out of there without buying any of them.

if they have any OB-84s i'd probably grab one of them before the OBS, though i probably say that only because i've never used the stainless bar and my OB-84 is my favorite

Found this on Kijiji. Couldn't find any other info on it. Eurotec by Eurosport for $170 CAD. Worth looking into?

I'm coming closer and closer to just getting the PowerBlock Sport Bench, it's just that it didn't feel very stable when I tried it out in the store.Last edited by sm1ke; 03-20-2017 at 09:10 AM.

Is this a Hammer Strength Iso Leg Press? Definitely an older version if so. Wish I had the room for it.
