I remember having some Billard dimples and a couple of waffles in my dad's garage. I bought some weights around ere last year and there a couple of rusty dimples in the lot. Never seen them bigger then 10's either.
What I miss most though are the two sets of unbranded Ivankos with bars and collars and curl bar that he bought at an auction from a Gym that went of business in Boston. Sad it was when I found he out he gave them away. sniff sniffLast edited by oldskooler; 09-25-2012 at 12:16 PM.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I guess I never posted these in here, and I'm not sure if they qualify as Vintage, but it at least gives Ivanko (Unbranded Ivanko) some representation in this thread

Nice those Ivanko collars are the most well built collars ever made . I don't think people realize how heavy duty they are.[/QUOTE]
I'm very impressed with those collars. I can't imagine ever getting rid of those or the unbranded plates.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #39 ▪█─────█▪

Those were made for decades, up until the 80s, maybe 90s. They were drilled out for Olympic bars too. I have seen Hundos go for 50 cents and up a pound.

Robert Zuver Jr. was selling some of the plates on eBay and Richard Sorin bought them. He subsequently purchased several more of Zuver's plates, to include the 200-lb plates.

All I have in the "vintage" area is books.
1981 Bill Starr "Defying Gravity" First edition, Signed by Mr. Starr
Kono's Book signed as well
Have a lot of other books from Hatfields old stuff to Starting strength but I think those are the only special onesI sell home and commercial fitness equipment, so if you have questions on equipment PM me and I will help.

That is when my life is taken to the edge of the point, that is when I am invincible until the moment of death”

Yeah, I talked to Richard Sorin yesterday and he said that he flew out and purchased the 200lb plates personally. From what he indicated, they are the only ones in existence and they were quite expensive. He motioned to a new pickup truck in the booth across from his and said that he could have purchased that truck for less than the plates cost him.
