Usually Try to get 150g+ protein a day, very loose with this, but try not too go much lower.
I also try to get in around 1600-1800 calories, if I feel hungry after I eat dinner I'm screwed because I will want another whole meal (no snacks)
Honestly I drink a protein shake when I wake up, one for lunch and have a pretty decent size dinner.
Dinner consists of a good amount of lean meats and vegetables (I do have some carbs, but not a ton I'll show pics of some special items I buy that help):
I'm pretty ismple, I jsut make sure I get enough protein, fiber, and fat while keeping the calories in my range.

Meats I like for cutting:
Chicken Breast: Grilled, Stir Fry or in Curry
Ground Turkey: Make Chili
Occasionally Pork Loin or a Steak(trimmed of fat): Grilled
Lean Hot Dogs w/ the Turkey Chili: I dont eat this often, but not bad

Vegetables I Like:
Zucchini: Grilled/Stir Fryed
Onions: Grilled/Stir Fry/Curry
Asparagus: Grilled or Stir Fry
Sweet Potatoes: Not a ton, but a little bit
Green Bell Peppers (if on sale)
Other Junk:
High Fiber Nature's Own Bread

I think the biggest thing you can do for diet is find what you can stick to, even if it's not optimal.
I used to buy things like Greek yogurt and cottage cheese, but those weren't meals for me and were honestly just extra calories i don't need.
