I mean the switch isn't going to provide you any real sense of what PS games have to offer in terms of haptics and adjustable triggers unless I am missing something?

I mean they have that rechargeable adapter you can buy, but pretty cheap of them not to include it in today's world.

It's a big boy, just cleared out a main shelf in my entertainment center for it this weekend. Wont fit anywhere in my entertainment center standing, so horizontal it will go.

I just opened mine this weekend. It's nice, and seems a step up from previous Sony units in build quality. But all the real reviews from a standpoint of sound would indicate it's pretty poor sound quality, and has a chit mic. I mean to be clear from a value standpoint probably the best thing on the market but anyone used to a high end headset will surely be dissapointed from everything I have read. I am glad I have something I know will work on Day 1 without hassle and will probably even keep it around as a backup since it's so cheap, but I will surely being using my SteelSeries as my regular set once they release the PS5 firmware update. Besides, I can't go back to using a headset that needs to be plugged in to be charged, lol.

I intend to put it vertically behind the TV, but where the disc drive is basically in line with the edge of the TV.

I never see anyone mention this option, but should work well, be out in open airflow, and mostly sight unseen.

My TV is pushed into a corner and I don't have access to the sides on my TV, let alone anything behind it. I'd assume this is why what you are describing isn't a popular option. Probably a lot who aren't in a corner even have their TV right up against a wall with no room behind it for a PS5.

My cleared area will be just fine, although I think the PS5 looks better vertical I do kind of like the way it looks like it's floating horizontally.... and at the end of the day I hate the system design either way, lol.

Haven't looked it up, but is there an actual difference in a PS4 Blu-ray and PS5 Blu-ray same game? I'm wanting this new AC games as normal. But getting a PS5 when one pops up to get. Will the PS4 game be the same caliber of the PS5?
