A bit of hypertrophy into the Texas Method

Hi guys, been doing the Texas method lately. Its been going great, failed a bench press because I was stupid, but heres what I'm running:

    Monday
    Squats 5x5 @87.5%
    Bench Press paused 5x5 @87.5
    Pause Deads 3x5 @ 70%

    Wednesday
Pause Squats 3x4: 85% of Monday weight
OHP 3x5( did this for PR sets but realized it affects bench so doing them light now)

    Friday
    Squats 1x5RM
    Bench 1x5RM
    Deadlift 1x5RM

Basically, I want to add a little bit of hypertrophy if at all possible. I've been getting stronger fast but I feel that hypertrophy is being significantly affected although my chest is blowing up.

Should I do.something like this for some hypertrophy or is that just stupid? At the end of the day, strength is the goal and if my progress will be affected by this addition then I'll gladly not do it. Would appreciate some recommendations. Thank you.

    Tuesday
    Skullcrushers 3x12 (light)
    Barbell rows 3x12 (light)
    Shrugs 3x12 (light)
    Curls 3x12 (li
    Squat: 310
    Deadlift: 325

Skullcrushers and rows on Monday, curls on Wednesday, shrugs on Friday. Nothing wrong with it. If strength is your goal then you should probably consider some rdl's somewhere; probably in place of rows on Monday and then taking shrugs out for rows on Friday.

THanks brah, im gonna stick to rows, shrugs and skullcrushers. I feel like my traps are lacking and makes my body look weird as hell. Skullcrushers have always helped my bench and rows because there are no rows in Texas Method.

You should look for Lascek's TM Advanced book. There is a good 4 day split that has a bit more room to add in accessory work (assuming you can lift 4 days a week).

justin recently came out with a book that focuses on hypertrophy as well. Its like a transition from novice to early intermediate. Might be a better first step but shouldnt really matter. I like the program he comes up with as well in the book.
    best lifts
    Squat 410
    bench 315
    press 185x5
    Deadlift 420
    clean 275
