'Toxic gas attack' in Syria kills at least 58 people
"Al Jazeera has no way of independently confirming the stories that are coming from there but the reality is there are a number of sources who are saying so many similar things," Fisher said.
"It appears that what we're being told is a fair reflection of the current events in Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib province in Syria."

For the same reason he comitted other war crimes against his people before the civil war started.
For the same reason Saddam gassed the Kurds.
He's an evil dictator.
This forum doesnt understand the middle east whatsoever. Respect in the mideast is gained through demonstrating brut fuking force. The reason the anti west dictators are more dangerous to the world than the terrorists are is because they have more power and can use more force. Doesnt mean jihadis are not a threat. They are. But they dont have WMD and a fuking air force.

May, Trump agree Russia should break ties with Assad: UK PM's office
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-mi...-idUSKBN17C2I8
"The prime minister and the president agreed that a window of opportunity now exists in which to persuade Russia that its alliance with Assad is no longer in its strategic interest," the spokeswoman said.
"They agreed that U.S. Secretary of State Tillerson's visit to Moscow this week provides an opportunity to make progress toward a solution which will deliver a lasting political settlement."
Trump administration open to additional strikes on Syria: White House

"The president retains the option to act in Syria against the Assad regime whenever it is in the national interest, as was determined following that government's use of chemical weapons against its own citizens. And as the president has repeatedly made clear, he will not be telegraphing his military responses."“And once you are awake, you shall remain awake eternally. ” - Friedrich Nietzsche

French intelligence says Assad forces carried out sarin attack
"We know, from a certain source, that the process of fabrication of the samples taken is typical of the method developed in Syrian laboratories," Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault told reporters after presenting the findings to the cabinet.
"This method is the signature of the regime and it is what enables us to establish the responsibility of the attack. We know because we kept samples from previous attacks that we were able to use for comparison."
"This production process is developed by Syria's Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC) for the regime," the report said.

To those who take these pronouncements at face value, I would remind you of the intelligence briefings circa Iraq 2003, when we were treated to elaborate presentations with intelligence agencies, who we thought were credible, showing us doctored photos, fake human intel and just outright lying to the American people.
... and most people, like you, swallowed it all, hook line and sinker.
Use your brain. Does it make any sense at all that the Syrian regime would gas it's own people and sabotage themselves on the cusp of finally winning this war? No it's completely self-defeating, and if Assad's party has proved anything, it's that they are very shrewd survivors.

Gassad at it again
"The United States has identified potential preparations for another chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime that would likely result in the mass murder of civilians, including innocent children," White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said in a statement Monday night. "The activities are similar to preparations the regime made before its April 4, 2017 chemical weapons attack."
"As we have previously stated, the United States is in Syria to eliminate the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. If, however, Mr. Assad conducts another mass murder attack using chemical weapons, he and his military will pay a heavy price."

The Syrian government has come a long way from being on the brink of destruction to where they are today.
Still a lot of work to do in terms of warfare and an even bigger mission in the cleanup but I'm glad they're coming out of this looking like the victors."

Poor fuks thinking they will ever have independence. Best they could do is to become a satellite state of Israel.
When us Turks had to fight for independence we fought against the whole world in 1919 and we won, and never licked boots or sucked dicks of anyone.
Now I can't name a single nation on earth kurds didnt licked boots of.
Their best way to salvation is to live under our flag, but they arent wanted here by most of us for their criminal tendencies.

Already rumors that a lot of the local fighters left the city, but the muhajireen are staying and fighting to the death
Also read that the muhajireen are asking to leave in one group and relocate to areas under IS control in Deir Ezzor and that a group of buses have been on the Raqqa outskirts since last night, but who knows, it may be for localsLast edited by arabianvenom; 10-14-2017 at 05:29 AM.
