Conor is late. So he will be getting there exactly when he was expected. LOL @ anyone who thought he would be on time. Would be willing to bet he walks in and talks trash to Floyd for being there on time, something about how "I'm the fooking king, you had better wait on me"

Actual odds of Mayweather fight?
I'm not looking for adjusted odds from Vegas as money comes in, I'm wondering if there are any odds out there for Mayweather win.
I know the betting odds are around -400 Floyd and +300 McGregor but thats to entice bets and protect the bookies.
I would say the actual odds of winning are 10-1 for Floyd.
McGregor has 3 rounds before frustration sets in and the gas tanks starts to drain.
Floyd will control the pace and make it a sparring session until McGregor gasses and look to finish after the 8th.

I believe something like 93% of bets have been placed on McGregor. Which isn't shocking because the +whatever is enticing and there are a lot of dumb people who think he has a chance. Smart money hasn't come in yet, they've been waiting for the sheep to drive the Mayweather line down. I imagine the the odds will have a heavy jump in these next few days as the big money starts to roll in.
When the fight was made a I read an interview with a Vegas odds maker. He said that it really didn't matter what you put Floyd at, people were going to bet McGregor because of the outlandish return you could get. He said that Floyd realistically is a -10000 favorite, but no book is going to put out out odds that absurd.*****Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers*****

Not a lot. Probably a bunch of casuals who saw +950 (is what I believe it opened at) and threw $100 or something smaller on it. When the big money starts to pile in I imagine that 80% of the public will be on Conor, but well over 50% of the money will be on Floyd.*****Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers*****

Miguel Cotto, Zab Judah, Andre Berto, Victor Ortiz and Marcos Maidana were all bigger dogs than what Conor is now. People saying Vegas is "nervous", lmao this chit is the easiest money they're ever going to make. It's the equivalent of making the New England Patriots at home a pick em versus the Browns but everyone is betting the Browns.

GOAT ******* most like it. Never seen a fighter duck so many people in their prime and fight like a *******. I'll give him props in that he took the smartest route possible in making the most money, taking the least damage possible (which is an amazing accomplishment in terms of healt), and having legit skills. Still fuking ******* though and expect the fight to be another borefest.

People forget that Floyd before the De La Hoya fight was an avoided fighter. Before his "money" persona, he was high risk/low reward.
People talk about Floyd fighting Mosley too late a lot, that was entirely Mosley's fault. He said he had toothache lol, that he wanted to go on vacations. He didn't want the fight with Mayweather. I'm not saying Mosley ducked Floyd, he just didn't want the fight. Until the dollar signs appeared and it made sense, then he wanted the fight.
Bob Arum wouldn't let Cotto fight Mayweather, Arum himself said Cotto is "too green" to fight Floyd when talk of a fight first started. With De La Hoya after Mayweather called him out, Arum was making too much money from Oscar, the fight WAS too premature from promoters point of view. When they eventually tried to make the Cotto fight happen, Arum wouldn't put up the money Mayweather wanted, so it didn't happen. Until Cotto left Arum, then it got made pretty quickly. With that in mind it's hard not to assume Arum was the biggest obstacle in getting Mayweather vs Pacqiuao made, along with Pacquiao refusing random testing.
When the De La Hoya fight was almost at peak interest, suddenly Mayweather is ducking Margarito. Arum wanted Floyd to fight Margarito, Floyd wanted De La Hoya, so Floyd bought out of his contract with Top Rank, fought Baldomir who was Lineal WW Champ at the time, and then moved up to fight Oscar. You can't duck if you're choosing De La Hoya over someone. It was the biggest fight in boxing at the time. Margarito then lost to Paul Williams, and later to Mosley, so his chances of fighting Floyd were gone.
Early in his career people say he ducked Morales, Barrera - They NEVER fought at the same weight at the same time. Floyd picked up his first world title at 130lbs in 1998, it wasn't until 2004 that Morales and Barrera fought at 130lbs, by which time Floyd was moving from 135 to 140.
