Day 1
Setting:
-2 hours after a meal
-Took pre-workout with a caffeinated supplement
I've read many many good things with PEA so I wanted to make sure that I wasn't having any placebo effects.
I feel as though I felt it 10-15 minutes after taking it. I DID feel a slight "buzz" kind of numbness of the head. I DID feel a little bit more focused.
I had a kick ass workout...shattered my PR's. This appears to be the trend lately with my training, but I can assure you it felt as though PEA helped.
I felt as though it wore off half-way through the workout, but I was just so gosh darn jolly that I hit some new PR's that it left me happy the rest of the day.
So far. Good stuff

those should both be great when stacked with PEA, you should love the results
As you know I have used L-Dopa which is what your bulk tyrosine will convert it into it and have seen great results when stacked with PEA, so you should do great. If you don't see much or want an enhanced effect with the tyrosine then possibly consider trying L-Dopa once you run out of the bulk tyrosine.i rep back 1k+

I have had only one other log?
Day 2
Setting:
-1 pill (500mg) then 10-15 minutes later I took another.
-Right after waking up, 1.5 hours before having a meal
I felt the slight buzz/numbness feeling of the head but I didn't feel anything else. I am still looking forward to that "clear headed" feeling that other users have made mention of.
I just took another dose 8 hours later:
1 pill, then another 10-15 minutes later
I feel a little numbness again but that is pretty much it
Funny thing...I gave one pill to my brother. He acted really tired all of a sudden, but since then, he has become more alert. He is acting like he is drunk....lol. Laughing and making the most random **** up and laughing about it.
Currently, he is playing the piano in the air...lmao...then mimicking my keyboard strokes while adding his own verbal version of what it sounds like.

Although IMO there would be a difference from doing it over a smaller period say like 5 hours than splitting it up a whole day, but generally 3-4g would be a nice limit to set for yourself. A lot of it has to do with the user and how they react to it. Slowly build up and you should be fine.

Possible (mostly seen in higher doses) cons:
Being over stimulated
Sweating
Increase heart rate and/or blood pressure
Feeling buzzed
Perception change too intense
Signs of red flush (probably due to a niacin like vasodilation/vasoconstriction)

Last night -
I ended up taking 2 (1 gram) then 10-15 minutes later another 2 (1 gram).
I didn't feel anything for 25-30 minutes then it all of a sudden *BAM*
I felt intoxicated and I felt good. Felt happy. This lasted for about 5-8 minutes (intoxication aspect)
I noticed that you need social interaction to fuel the effects. I called a few people up and just started talking talking talking...lol. I felt good.
I did get the clear headed aspect quickly as well.
The effects honestly lasted for what I felt to be quite short lived though.
I am planning on taking 2 caps followed by another 10 minutes later now. I shall report back later today.VPX Sports Representative

Yup I also feel like the more interaction you have or the more active you are determines some of the effects. Another thing I like to do is listen to music while taking it, it increases the intensity for me.

Log looking good bro! I saw that squats was on this and knew that you had good support---he's good peeps! I was wondering about the focus aspect. Would it also help me to study? I have a problem really hunkering down and focusing, actually really concentration on school work because it's so dry and boring, but I know I need to. Think this might be a possible side help? I wouldn't take PEA just for that obviously, just wondering though. Also wondering because you also said that it had an intoxicating effect which I also read in squats log. Wouldn't that actually detract from the focus or does aspect not last too long?

It would help you to study and will increase your focus. However this is going to be dose dependent. The reason why he felt an intoxicating effect is because of his high dose. For concentration purposes I'd try out 750-1000mg all at once and see how that works.... you may get a very slight brain buzz with it but it wouldn't last too long and that dose should help drastically increase focus. Actually even when I took a 2g dose while in history class I had the slight intoxicating effect but somehow everything that was being talked about in classed seemed 100x more interesting to me.
It may be a matter of playing around with your doses, but again generally 750mg-1,000mg will do the trick for increased focus and studying. And then you can go with a more recreational dose after you are done studying and you get back the test with a nice A at the top!i rep back 1k+

Thanks for subbing! I will do my best to honestly display my reaction to PEA.
I only feel the intoxication aspect when going and having the "overdose". 2 grams +. For me, it lasts only a few minutes. You are then just left being in a good mood...and the more you are surrounded by positive people...the more you will react to it. It isn't a supplement where you can just pop a few then go in your room and be in your own little world. It is more of a social thing.
For me, the focus aspect that I receive from PEA is derived from the head numbness. It kind of makes me want to focus in on something. My head is just numbing, looking for something to focus on.
The best way to describe this focus aspect is that it would be good for busy work and getting things done, but I am unsure yet to how well it would work with studying. I have yet to try it with that.
I also feel as though PEA could favor aggression. I think I could definitely use this as a tool with working out.
I am still finding my niche with this supplement. I was still experimenting with dosages etc...
1.5g feels good. I think it just kinda helped me write all of thisVPX Sports Representative

oo, after reading what I wrote I found another way to describe PEA and with how I have been feeling over the last few doses.
For me, I feel like it helps with focus...but not necessarily mental alertness. I do not feel quicker (mentally), but I do feel as though what I am focused on sounds more interesting (kind of what squat2grow said)VPX Sports Representative

Awesome that you are going to give PEA a try, it really should blow you away!!
I have used it pre-workout before and it really helps focusing in on going in and lifting everything haha another thing is that it pairs up really well with stimulants such as SP250. They will have a synergistic effect when taken together in my experience.
When you get your PEA you'll just have to play around with doses and dosing timing. I can help you more when you get your bottle, but some of it will also just depend on how your body reacts to it and the levels of MAO-b in your system (the stuff responsible for the breakdown of PEA and other things in your body such as dopamine)i rep back 1k+
