Gonna ask my own question in this thread because it is similar to yours.

If you people eat a branch of broccoli, do you count it in your calories? Say it was steamed with a little salt.

I do count it personally, but veggies are usually pretty low cal and im wondering if some people ignore it.

I eat a bag almost every day. Broccoli is great for you so no, I don't think you can eat "too much." however, it does fill you up so it makes it hard to eat more food. So if your on a cut, I think the more broccoli the better as long as you hit your macros still.

Assuming you're still hitting your macros, I would that you're eating "too much" broccoli when it makes you physically sick/uncomfortable to consume any more.

i never used to, but ive since decided i want to know truly how many calories im eating in a day. however, i dont obsessively weigh and calculate like i do with everything else. when i eat the whole bag of veggies, which is pretty much whenever i have them, i just multiply the calories by the servings in the bag even if its not consistent. if i dont eat the whole bag, ill eyeball.
