I love my 2004 corolla. Reliable, affordable, and gets me where I need to go. I rented a Volvo coupe convertible a few years ago while on vacation in California, which was nice, but I couldn't imagine owning something like that. A lot of dealers inflate their prices and people continue to buy used cars from them for the little hope of somewhat of a warranty ( that they usually never fulfill )

Same goes for private sellers too. You need to learn proper value of whatever it is you are looking for.

I can agree with this. I dont have a problem with people dropping under 10k on a car like a nice built fox body or ls1 camaro. Especially true if they actually go to the track and race or enjoy building the cars.

Repping op. I've never had a car more than $13,000. Currently drive 2012 Chevy Cruze. 35 mpg. Cars are the worst purchases people make over their life. A new car loses up to 70% of its Value in just 4. Then trade it in and lose 70% on the next. It's an endless cycle and usually people only move up in car so the 70% number keeps getting larger and larger

Ill ride my truck into the ground before I buy a different car(probably 3-4 more years) and after that if I want a safe car Ill buy an 04ish volvo s40 for 3-4k.
