So far this is looking like most overhyped game of the decade and will be dead on arrival.
Game is getting massive criticism across board from latest gameplay previews online. Absolutely brutal comments on YouTube vids.
No citizens walking around, no other cars driving except you, combat feels stiff and world is
empty, and worst of all the dialogue and bad acting sounds like something out of a Michael Bay film but worst like it was made for a 13 year old.
All they had to do was make a deus ex + gta hybrid with witcher quality dialogue and gameplay. After 6 years of dev time I'm shocked how bad this looks from CDPR.

Literally every youtube video showcasing the latest gameplay is flooded with how disappointed they are with how this is turning out, that is the opposite of troll. It is almost as bad as the feedback Crysis remastered received a week ago, pushing the devs to delay that game and polish it up. I imagine CDPR are pretty nervous receiving such negative criticism to the most recent demo showcases of the game.
Hopefully im wrong but well find out on release. You guys are welcome to keep hyping it up though.

I think he's talking about the long gameplay videos uploaded with no commentary etc. I recall seeing one with lots of negative comments and just remembering how stupid people can be on YouTube. The previewers who were hands-on with the game seem to be unanimously impressed af with it, although there are flaws and it isn't (and will never be) perfect
Can't find it in my watched history now but there was one with the fist-fighting minigame at the start of the video and comments full of people being idiots

It looks by the numbers brah
It doesn't look weird enough to be edgy
The game looks really bad and dreadfully boring
Most of the characters are washed out and boring. It's not unique in the slightest bit and looks generic as hell, and the gameplay looks exceedingly bland. Literally the only interesting thing I've seen so far is it has Keanu Reeves, but that's not enough to save it for me. It's "maturity" is handled in an ultimately juvenile way that only really appeals to teenagers who think cussing every other word makes them look badass, and also you'll see tiddies. I want a game that actually delves deep into mature themes rather than scratch the surface by presenting little more than an edgy teen's wet dream. Everything looks so uninspired and I'm honestly ready for the hype to be over.

Yes, we can tell you’re ready for the hype to be over.
Anyways my current project was originally slated to finish like 2 days before the revised release, but it’s looking like the project won’t finish on time so that’s kinda unfortunate. Really hoping to get a chance to dive into it enough that I don’t need to avoid the internet for weeks afterwards

At this point i only have one prediction to make about Cyberpunk and that is on November the 17th a well lubed up R3L3NTL3SS is going to awaken his parents at 3am as he completely trashes the fuc out of his bedroom in the rage when the game doesn't meet his expectations.
The yellow nerd Cyberpunk chair is going straight out of the bedroom window.

Relentless with the relentless optimism haha.
Game will be good no doubt, time will tell if it will be truly epic or not. No use getting our panties bunched up beforehand.
I think a lot of the first person combat looks a bit chit. But I also remember thinking the combat in TW3 was chit when I first started..and 3 full playthroughs and 5 years later it’s one of my all time favorites and the combat doesn’t have anything to do with my feeling about it lol.
Time will tell, but I still have faith CDPR will put out a good product with that top tier quest and story development with good characters and atmosphere. Hopefully the combat stuff gets polished lmaoSCC - Redskins - Wizards

I haven't watched many gameplay vids because I want the game to feel fresh when I get it. I'm fine with the combat from my initial impression in the first trailer. I don't know much but it does seem like there are a ton of promises they need to deliver on which would make the scope of this game much more than Witcher 3. They did spend more time making Cyberpunk though. We'll see.
My chief "concern" if I have to nitpick is that we don't get a known and established character to play as. Like in skyrim for example, we know you're the higborn but other than that there's no history or story behind you. You can role play as who you want. And that's fine but in Witcher you play as Geralt, follow his story and his lore and how his actions in the past shaped who he is today as a person as well as his relationships with others. With this game, I'm sure there will be alot to do and role play but I'm concerned that the story and character building will suffer as a result.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

I still think it should be 3rd person, or at least have the camera switch to 3rd in "social spaces", apartment, etc. Seems pretty silly to have a customizable character that you never see. And I don't buy the "immersion" argument.
Other than that, looks pretty solid and probably won't disappoint, but likely won't be as groundbreaking as some seem to expect. I'm guessing an 8/10 that will gain 1-2 points in reviews just based on hype and developer reputation.☠ By reading this post, you have agreed to my negative reputation terms of service.

I definitely would like to have the option to at times, switch to third person, not in combat or roaming but if you're just in a club or a bar or something along those lines. At the least I hope there are plenty of cinematic cut scenes that show us our character in the third person, so that we actually get to enjoy our customization otherwise there's no point in having that freedom.

Most rpg games come out as 3rd person anyways, and there's no option in them to switch to first. I personally prefer first person so I'm glad one game is doing it.
I don't care that much about what my character looks like anyway and I'm sure I could see a whole view of him in the character screen. First person is most definitely more immersive, that's not even an argument.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
