There used to be a sub section specifically for what is currently banned across the board.
It was probably before your time (certainly before your join date)
Pepperidge Farm remembers
That has to be a pretty easy to poinpoint source for certain people going to certain other forums instead, matter of fact

sure...and I honestly have NO qualms about at least having open discussions about it....I guess the idea is that it can't look like someone is "promoting" it...again, I reference how people read WAY too far into things, get offended, and then sue, or report, or whatever.... but no, I agree that it's all over everywhere and really at the end of the day, shouldn't be disregarded as part of an educational standpoint.... "hey kids, don't do 'X' or you will suffer 'Y' side effects...."

Are you offended?
Seeing as those types of subjects do seem to increase traffic on other forums, the bad publicity might be worth it unless they want the forum continue down the path of becoming a waste land.
It is what it is.
Those sites get more traffic because people DON'T have to switch sites to talk about those things. They won't post here and then post on another site when the drug talk comes up. Besides, not all banned talk is bad. Some people are asking for help after they realized they F-ed there body up in one form or another and are seeking advice. Closing the thread or banning them isn't going to leave a good impression on that person asking the question or others actually seeking HELP. Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

BB.com is owned by a corporation that answers to a board of directors and shareholders. That is pretty much why you can’t discuss illegal or topics that may encroach on their policies.
Just how it is and you won’t change that barring a change in ownership.Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

There are a number of things I would like to see if you get a chance. I'd rather use a forum than FB or something like that. Social media knows enough about me already.
- A Tutorial on how to use the forum. Some of the directions are confusing or hidden. I've been negged for not embedding something in a comment. I don't have time for stuff like that. If people are going to react that way it makes posting not worthwhile. A tutorial on the Fitness tracker would be nice too. It's clunky.
- Enough with the zombies. If a thread hasn't been active for 5 years, make a pop-up asking if the poster is SURE they want to comment.

Then you'd think they would take exception with us giving away free product here.
I'm also of the opinion that the best way to represent a brand is to be helpful to the person first. In 2018 people know a shill pitch when they see one. If one of our products matches what they are looking for, then great. But the outward shilling has certainly hurt this section too.

You statement has ZERO (as usual with most of your posts) to do with I pointed out. Though I find it funny that you are the rep that responded to what I said...kinda speaks for itself.
Also I don't need nor want you ever think your advice is needed or wanted about being a rep. Unlike you I follow the rep rules and do things the right way and represent my company well.

The occasional ads that pop up and take you to a different website while browsing the forums on a phone might turn some users off.
The back and forth barking and nipping from reps and among reps is also quite annoying at times. Some might find it entertaining but I am sure many are turned off by it. Want examples? Read this thread

I’m with you on the refined sugars....in my fat kid days it replaced the blood in my veins. But over the last 10 years I’ve been farther and farther away from them and any time I “cheat” I regret it the next day....
On the topic at hand, I also agree with the nipping. It’s cute for a minute when it’s still jovial and fun but always turns ugly very quick and takes over the thread......example? Look up ANY “....should I take BCAA...” threadDad
