PEScience protein extra foamy lately?

Anyone else having this issue? I'm using Frosted Chocolate Cupcake and have been for months, and this batch produces about 3-4" of foam in my milk when it never used to.

nope. just bought this exact flavor yesterday and no mixability issues...tastes great and zero foaming

I have used dozens of tubs and foaming has never been an issue at all.

Did you purchase it from Bodybuilding.com?

That's weird. I usually use mine with water though and i don't have this issue. With milk it will usually foam a little but 3-4 inches of foam is a lot. It's probably that batch or something idk.

I did. Here is a picture, though it's in a smaller blender bottle but this is about 2 minutes after I stopped shaking it. Before that I couldn't even tell where the foam stopped and the actual liquid began.

Using 1% Giant store brand, same as I've been using for years.

It seems very odd. We never have complaints regarding foaming (as you can see above).

That does seem very odd. I honestly I have never once encountered that with PES Select.

Honestly, if it tastes fine and the foaming eventually goes down (and your still able to drink the shake) I would probably just chalk it up to a weird, random tub. Buy another in the future and see if you have the issue the next time as well. I'm thinking you shouldn't ...

Is foaming really an issue? My last tub of dymatize orange Creamsicle it would foam from liquid all the way to the lid. Always just chugged anyways since I don't have patience to wait. Made me burp a few times but I still made it out alive.

I've never had a shake foam that much, even when I blend them with a 2% milk which on its own foams a good amount. I doubt it's the powder, have you tried mixing in water as well?

Well a foamy beer and foamy shake are completely different. But really...when I shake the **** out of a drink I always expect foam basically unless it's water only. Which I wouldn't shake anyways.

Stupid question, but where is the lot number? I'm used to it being printed along with a best by date, but I'm not seeing that anywhere on the tub...

Either in yellow colored font below lid or bottom edge of label. At least should be.

Definitely not there, no yellow colored print anywhere. The only things I see are stamped numbers on the actual bottle and lid, like pressed into the plastic.

Bumping this back up, this is still a routine problem for me. I've tried water, I've tried all varieties of milk, and almond milk and I still get results like this. This is after sitting for 5 minutes:



It's almost undrinkable. How has no one else had this issue?

Do you pop the top to let the gas escape faster? Maybe bro science but I feel it helps.

2 different pics very far apart both blended in a blender bottle the one poured into a glass just so you can see how little foam there is same across all flavors of the Select lineup have a lot of pictures of protein can't recall any brand foaming up as much as your pics op. I honestly don't understand. If it does it in water for me it has to be the protein, but no one else seems to ever have the problem.
