I've never had a protection breed before. Now I fully understand why people just get GSD's
Our pupper is 20 weeks today. 26" tall, 70lbs. Basically the size of an adult police dog.
This is already terrifying to everyone who comes over. There is absolutely no reason for a dog that gets 2x or 2.5x this large.

I doubt OP has a true Ovcharka under control. They have a higher chance of attacking a member of their pack than a pit bull, but there's less attacks overall because they're more rare.
These dogs are meant to be living in a place where they can work, have a ton of space and the owner is experienced. If you try to correct one of these bad boys too strongly or in a way where you're trying to intimidate them their instinct is to fight back.Lurking since '05 - the days of VS gorilla/cloud/goku threads

Depends on the breed. My friend had monster Scottish deerhounds. Like wire haired greyhounds on steroids. Never seen another animal other than deer move that fast on Scottish glen and hillside, not even my German pointer. Greyhounds edge them on a flat but on benn and glen the greyhound smashes them. They were super lazy indoors.
Thinking about getting a bullmastiff, Spanish Mastiff or English pointers. Anyone got any experience?
