Maybe I'm too cynical but I don't see any of these changes saving an outdated and dead platform or BB.com even implementing/caring about most of these. Social Media rules all. Wish you luck though, as I've been here a while and it will suck when it goes away.

We all know what The Solution to this problem is, if he were here his posts would be worth like 10,000 of regular members.

^^^ that happens a lot and online competitors pop up a lot. I have sent a few screenshots to admins. I think google ad words dictates it based on user history

It is AdSense, so that's definitely the case. Most of the time the ads are for Hilton (the hotel chain I use the most) and competitors to my online store because I'm doing comp research and getting retargeting ads. It also drives based on your browsing history for me in Chrome.

Edit: I was also doing my month end research on my AdWords to see the traffic for last month. The attached image is telling as to how important mobile is for a site...

Forums are dying. Social media and fast response platforms like reddit are the future. I love this site and have been here since 2005, but there is no denying the current trend. It simply can't compete. You can also multiply that with the fact bodybuilding.com is not offering the deals of old or the shipping. It used to be basically 2 day shipping or virtually next day. Now it is a week shipping. Plus bodybuilding has gone corporate and is now charging for routines that can be found in a routine google search. Look at company reps, 10 years ago every company was on here. Now, more leave everyday. There isn't a simple fix. Its like blockbuster trying to fix their business model when its already too late.

Running forums costs money, so ads you have to click on are fine. That’s pretty normal on other forums online as well.

It is really annoying though when you access the forum on your phone, just to read, and then it automatically takes you to a different page wihout you clicking on anything, and the Back button won’t even take you back to the forum, so you’ll have to put in the forum url in again, in order to go back. And no, it’s not a pop-up.

Got this a few minutes ago.

I have got this at least 30 times the last two days. It is to the point where I don’t even want check out everything on my phone.

I hope your right Ray, I really do. But it's not just a matter of changing things back to the way they were (which is the first step) but also going back and getting the people (and traffic) that was lost. That's going to be the biggest challenge.

Feel like these 3 things should've been done back in 2010ish.

For the site in general:
1) Shipping time needs to be </=2 days or BB.com is done for (sadly). Amazon is relentless and getting better every day.

It would be pretty sweet to give us reps an even bigger role and allow users to Live Chat with us on any product questions or feedback on other things. Might be a dumb idea too, but I think it could be pretty cool!
