I gave up pop about 1.5 years ago mainly for my teeth. There were a couple hot summer days out doing yardwork and I'd consume 6-8 in a day.

So this exists... get it! So delicious, just like a s'mores spread! Had it on some hot Eggo Waffles, new level tasty.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Well, NYC was incredible.
Did everything I could in 5 days. Times Square, Bus Tour, Empire State at night, Rockerfella first thing, Central Park on a bike, Cruise tour to the Statue of Liberty, The Yankees, Billy Joel @ MSG, WWE @ MSG, WTC and so so so much more. Hellish 6 days and walked 25km every day to take in all the sights and sounds of NYC. Also, ate epic amounts of food. Lombardi's Pizza was sensational, Murray's Bagels killed me, the Hershey's shop was daft as arses as I bought every Reese's product I hadn't tried (Nutrageous, Clusters and Cookie Cup were GOAT), oh and I went to that Cookie Dough place that went viral.
Came home and moved into my new place, just finished alphabetising my record collection... been gigging this weekend with the band. 2 gigs down, 1 more to go tonight!
What have I missed? Life's slowing down... lemme catch up.
Oh, haven't lifted properly in a fortnight, so looking forward to stopping being a fat **** tomorrow (though all you can eat ice-cream and cookie dough is happening on Tuesday!).

I went to NYC last Sat. Had a great time. Did the Freedom Tower Observatory, etc., and also checked out Times Square. I drove and what a difference it is driving in the city compared to out here.
Gonna go back and probably do the ferry to the Statue of Liberty later this Summer.- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

OH phuk yes, driving in NYC is beyond an experience
Years ago, before they made Times Square for the tourists and to get their $$, it was seedy, porn shop filled etc, way grittier for sure, I found it way more interesting then thoughNASM CPT

After I finished with the Observatory I figured I'd drive down Central Park / Times Square and check it out. Didn't get to do anything but drive through there were so many people and so many drivers on my ass and cutting in front of me.
I got there before 7 am too but stayed pretty much in the Freedom Tower area but also walked down to Battery Park. Parking garage was right in between the park and Tower so it worked out perfect.- Your mindset influences your outcome. Cutting off people is the norm there unfortunately
When I go back, I have to change my whole mode of driving from here to very aggressive driving; first to go is the turn signal lol, NO TIME for that there, someone will cut you off like boom so just gotta move aggressively into lanes etc and make sure no people, bikes, cars etc in the way. Definitely cannot be chilling or changing songs on media while driving there lol
FOOD yea!
Oh yea, July is traditionally a LOT of T Storms there, humidity soars, etc
Im sure baseball was kinda odd to see if not used to it!NASM CPT

First day doing some real lifting since NYC, two weeks without a proper workout is 5eva for me. Whipped my arse into gear with Stronglifts and a little fluff. Think I might keep doing this for a couple of weeks as it was a nice mix up.
I think the odd thing with baseball was how overly commercialised it all was. There seemed to be more advertisement breaks than game time!
Ahh, that explains why McDonald's were giving free ice-cream to anyone with the McDonald's app over here, yesterday. I'm off to an all you can eat Ice-Cream & Cookie Dough festival tomorrow, it'll be my second food challenge-esque experience. The record is eight bowls, apparently. Challenge truly accepted.
Reminds me, not having Halo Top whilst in NYC was a regret. I saw it too, but without a spoon in my pocket, it'd of melted before I had the chance

You could seriously have a successful second career on the Food Channel as a critic
Yea most sports in USA are like that
Many years ago, baseball players (maybe other sports too) had to have second jobs to support income because baseball wasn't enough, now they get paid ridiculous amounts as do most in pro sportsNASM CPT

@jampott: honestly baseball is pretty good, as far as the big sports go (baseball, basketball, and football). i love watching football the most, but they take commercial breaks almost between plays now.
i drink the real stuff. it's bro-sciency maybe, but i prefer the sugar and it's consequences to the artificial sweeteners in the dietDomicron's Basement Gym and Fun House
