kinda thought exponential meant rapid growth. i guess it depends on what you consider rapid growth

Jesus, COVID-19 isn't the ****ing super harbinger of death and destruction. The virus itself doesn't ****ing cause permanent lung damage. Any time you get pneumonia you can have lasting short term effects which usually clears up in the weeks after it's gone. In extreme cases, which there are likely quite a few of, it cancause permanent damage ie: scar tissue in the lungs.
The sensationalizing has to ****ing stop with this damn virus.

Total US deaths looks near exponential to me.

Would be interesting to see as a published manuscript. I'm particularly interested in how many patients were potentially lost to follow-up.
Regardless, that's one of the combinations that we are banking on, and we're hoping the randomized controlled trials will show a benefit.
There's a lag between the two curves because of the long incubation period.أشهد أن لا إله إلاَّ الله و أشهد أن محمد رسول الله

Claiming "downard" death trend this early into the US epidemic is simply retarded.

No idea what you’re trying to say.
I’ll keep this simple:
Go to the CV total deaths graph over time.
Make the y axis log
If the slope is linear, the growth is exponential.
For trend for the past 3 weeks is very close to exponential growth. There’s always day to day variation, but look at the trend.
