I made a tin of brownies... and ate the whole thing. Yes, delicious.

    Here is the picture:

    Recipe:

    1/2 cup apple sauce
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup Ghiradeli unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
splenda to taste (the applesauce is plenty sweet IMO)

    Macros:
    472 cals
    16g Fat
    72g Carbs
    25g Protein

I subbed in applesauce for the original vegetable oil because I would much rather get my fats from the Peanut Butter I spread on top of it. It came out just as moist and delicious.

    Enjoy!

(yes, pie tin. deal with it )

    Yes sir

You could use the original recipe's vegetable oil (which would bump up the cals), but like I said, I would much rather spread the PB on top of it. I am really happy with the results as this was my first time making it.

Yes, it tastes delish. Has a chocolate coating with a very thin, cakey layer then a milky filling inside. Very good at only ~130 cals.

I used 1.1kg of chicken for this.

In the first bowl mix together grated parmesan cheese (5 tbsp), oregano, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and 2 1/2 cups of panko. Ideally, you'd want to use parmigiano reggiano instead of parmesan if you can afford it but I'm too poor at the moment.

In the other bowl, I just beat three eggs.

Most people use flour then egg then panko to bread it but I don't want the extra calories from the flour. The real secret is that you press the chicken down into the panko. This makes it adhere a lot more. Also, it won't look like a lot of panko is on it but once you bake it the chicken strips look different.

I baked it at 425F for 10 minutes then flip then another 10 minutes. Make sure not to lay down any foil or parchment paper or it won't crisp as much.

Cod came out great, and my girl lost her mind over such a simple cream sauce.

I have more dough cold proofing right now. I'm thinking smoked beer can chicken on Friday, and make some pizzas with the left overs on Saturday. The longest I've proofed was 48 hours, and I'm eager to see how a 3 day dough turns out.

Good choice on the roasted peppers, but there's definitely a lack of roasted jalapenos in your spread. Those red peppers taste like candy fresh off the grill.

I didn't want to create a new topic for this so I thought I'd ask here since I've seen people post it a bunch of times.

Sweet Potatoes. I've never had them and I'm not to good at measurements. I'm assuming sweet potatoes are a low calorie food, AKA you can eat a bunch for little calories (little being subjective obviously but yeah). I've seen it quoted at "1 large at 162 calories".

Secondly, could someone give me a rough breakdown on how to make Sweet Potato oven fries? I've just started not burning my protein pancakes so I thought I'd go into something a bit harder as I learn to cook my own food. (Yes I suck at cooking)

    Sweet Potato Nutrition Facts: http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/...roducts/2666/1

How I make sweet potato fries:
-Clean potatoes and slice into either disks or wedges.
-Cover with desired spices + 1 tsp of olive oil per potato
-Bake in oven at about 425 till their nice and browned

There is really a lot of different ways to do it, but that's just how I make mine.

IIFYM =/= junk food brahs (not always anyway )

Dinner: Huge omelette with chicken, spinach, and turkey bacon. Served next to a large spinach salad with black pepper crusted tuna.

Don't neg me for the mustard here. I like it okay?!

    Half way done.

Experimented with iPhone picture taking app/natural light. Sorry if it looks like a failed attempt at taking good food photos. I have to work with what I got.
    IIFYM - not even once.

Love em. Hard to beat grilled peppers. I'm not much for Jalapenos though, too hot for me.

It was nice to fire up the grill, I finally perfected my steak as well.

Have you tried roasted poblano peppers? They are milder than a jalapeno and more flavorful than bell pepper. Great for a mild salsa, side, or burger topping paired with guacamole.

Rice and Broccoli topped with sauteed Shrimp. Poured some melted butter on top for some more flavor.
