I have, more than once, not wanted to lift but wanted to drink my pre. After drinking the pre I feel obligated to lift since I took the pre; it's a weird sort of motivation to not let it 'go to waste'.

Oh yes definitely.

Once I take a stimulant containing pre workout, I have to lift. That's the point of no return.

So the Bombsicle flavor from Kraken is pretty much like a tropical fruit punch. Not overly sweet. It's a good flavor, nothing to go nuts about. Kinda wish I got Sour Gummy Bear to try or Sex on the Beach.

As far as results, I really liked it. Didn't notice a huge difference from Total War, but I felt like I had more than enough energy to spare and crushed my dead lift and front squat sets. Very good pre. Not experiencing any crash now and it's been about two hours since I took it and an hour since my workout ended.

Focus looks like a big standout for sure. And i'm actually feeling you on the overstimulation right now. After logging Quake, I'm actually excited again for products with a little less stim, as long as the overall formula is good.

I'd imagine that would get a bit expensive after awhile. I know you get stuff as a rep so would you still be doing that even if you weren't a rep?

Yes i would and I was even before to becoming a rep. GameDay isn't something I can always use, after 2-3 months, I HAVE to take a few weeks off of everything with DMHA, otherwise it builds a tolerance.


It is kind of expensive tbh, I spend a dollar a day about so using pre workouts as energy boosts. Obviously I'm not using pre workouts that are fully loaded like KATANA or Conqu3r unleashed for these purposes.

I actually use the 2 scoops myself (still doesn't overstimulate me) BUT at 1 scoop, the focus should still be felt and 3g of citrulline is still at a clinical dose

I respond very well to citi****ne. Quake has my interest as well.

2 usually. One mixed with Greek yogurt and fruit. Another mixed with fairlife

I've done three workouts recently with one scoop of prolific and 1 scoop or less high volume added. It's been good, only 160mg caffeine and no DM_A. I don't feel stimmmmed but I don't feel sluggish at all, and I have focus and don't fade during the session (I'm not short on carbs or anything though)

Gave Kraken multiple shots before commenting here on it.

I’ve found that the focus / tunnel vision aspect of Kraken to be much better than DMAA. I find it has strong energy / aggression component that goes nicely with the aforementioned focus aspect.
I find DMAA to be more raw aggression, with less “finite” focus. What I mean is that DMAA gets you in the game too, but it’s mostly just hype up type of energy, where I found Kraken to be slightly more reserved there, but way more “hood up, head down, go to work” type of focus.

I would take it over DMAA, and certainly over MESO as I still believe Centurion Rage to be the best DMAA out.
With all that being said, Ill take God of War Red in any situation as my number one pre. To me it is the perfect blend of the two components mentioned above, and has never failed to deliver for me. For whatever reason, Amp-C, especially in that product, really hits a sweet spot for me resulting in the best I can ask for out of a preworkout.
For everyone asking what is the best pre, it seems more and more these ingredients affect everyone differently, and no one can claim one is the absolute best over another. I’d suggest giving them all a try and see what you like.

I have Meso (Tutti and Rocket), God of War Red Pineapple Slaughter Berry, and Kraken (SOTB / Watermelon) all on hand. Id be willing to send out a serv or 2 if someone (preferably a regular contributor on here) wants to do the try before you buy thing.

So went through a few boxes from the old house and found a ~75% full tub of VPX redline white heat with AMP C, but it expired march of last year.. still good to use or just toss it? It still looks and smells fine
