Hamzzaa - I actually got kinda interested too so I went ahead and did some from Bill's IG. Here are the last 12 rap songs from there that shazam could properly read (some clips have too much background noise from the weights/people talking to identify the song):

Master P - Make ‘em say uhh
    Tru$ - No Limit Soldiers
Yo Gotti Feat Rich Homie Quan - I know
Rich Gang Feat. Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan - Lifestyle
Jay-Z Feat. Chrisette Michele - Lost One
T.I. Feat Young Thug - About The Money
Juvenile - Back That Ass Up
    BG - Bling Bling
Wash feat. French Montana - Can’t Trust Thots
    Betty Wap - Again
Rich Gang - Tell Em (Lies)
    Partynextdoor Feat. Drake - Recognize

that should be enough to burn a CD for your next training sesh
Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

B: Because of the above you feel like you're above everyone else even though you're not that competitive in the sport itself, but no one knows that because no one outside the sport understands powerlifting. You'll get asked how much you sq, press, or pull and you'll seem amazingly strong to your 56 year old auntie or coworkers who think powerlifting and Oly lifting are the same thing.
C: it's an individual sport so to me it seems to attract people, not all, but a lot of people who couldn't do well in team sports.

Kinda like BL was saying, when you get critiqued, you get defensive because for a while you were up on your high horse and then someone comes along and tells the truth, but now you can't handle it because in your own eyes and in the eyes of a lot of others you're amazing. But really you're not. So to defend yourself you act like a child.

I've always said some of the most down to earth non douche lifters that I've met are at the top of the game. Efferding and Spoto are cool as hell and have nothing to prove. There are also guys who are super high as far as achievement goes who act like babies and post selfie after selfie after selfie and talk about how their lift was no belt stiff bar, no sleep, been stabbed 4 times, all while having mono. I don't understand those guys because in powerlifting they're actually super elite lifters, but still act like they have something to prove.
this post is TMRL. Hit the nail on the head.

brb broke the APA state drug-tested bench press record a few years ago
brb sometimes in social situations when a friend (non-lifter) is introducing me they'll throw in something like "he's the strongest bench presser in OR" or "yeah he's record holder for the bench press in Oregon". I can't help but get embarrassed because in my head I know that doesn't mean a god damn thing in the PLing world, and now I have to come up with some awkward ass response.

Might have already been posted, but looks like KK is back. Apparently he had a major surgery a few months ago. He just pulled 405kg beltless: https://instagram.com/p/3yv86FFZs3/?...russianlifters

Edit: KK seems to be the only current high level DLer without some "controversial" pull. Beni had the supposed "light plates" when he pulled 1015, and had the not locked out 420kg pull, Andy B's 1003 lockout was questionable, Leeman's 903 lockout. I guess Koklyaev hasn't had any controversial calls, except the 422.5 that he locked out but lost his grip right before getting the down command and got reds.

290kg squat by Castillo @ 82kg bw, Gibbs misses 2nd and 3rd, ends up with 270kg opener.

Edit: Gibbs benches 202.5 to Castillo's 182.5 to tie it up going into deads.

There's a theory saying all those shiny plates that they used were not calibrated and light. Not sure who started it but apparently some lifters lifted way more than what they're normally capable of or something like that.

This is why you should always put in thirds at +100 lbs of your max. If you're lucky you get the light weights that people keep screaming about.

Meh, many of KK's big performances have been at backyard meets that didn't have calibrated plates. People just chose to whine about Benni's for some reason. I'm not sure why.

Also, PLwatch took down one of KK's biggest raw pulls because apparently there was some rumor that he actually entered the equipped division, or something or other. I never actually saw any evidence to support this.

I also researched Benni's pull, and I believe the shiny plates were indeed calibrated. I haven't found any evidence that Ivanko sells any chrome plates that are not calibrated, and until someone offers evidence that such plates actually exist, I don't see any reason to believe that these are uncalibrated plates. It was just a couple at the end that they had to add to fit it on the bar that did not match the other plates that were uncalibrated. So stories about other lifters who pulled a lot more than normally capable of don't even really apply here, since only two plates on the bar were uncalibrated, and they were only used on Benni's pull.

I like what Benni said regarding that when interviewed by Sarychev. Sarychev said, "Some people don't think your 460 kg pull was legitimate because of uncalibrated plates." He laughed and said, "Let them think that. I pulled 470 kg twice in the gym, so 460 really was not all that much for me that day."

On a different note, every single uncalibrated 45 I've ever weighed on a medical scale (I once did this with all of my gyms plates) weighed 46-49 lbs. Not a single on weighed 45, let alone less. So Benni's lift could have easily been more than 1,015.

Although it is a shame that a pair of uncalibrated plates got on the bar, I don't think it could have possibly been light enough that any other lifter would have the raw record if the plates were actually weighed out. No one has even really come close. Make sense?

Lol'd at that last part. I only recently saw it on one of Cummins' videos...lol stiff bar PR? All I pull with are stiff bars.. I'm sure the same goes for a lot of guys who don't have access to a legit PL gym/equipment.
