I've learned a lot of control over the years and that's actually made me a MUCH better grappler.. sometimes when I relax and just flow, I do much, much better. But then again you get those crazy spastic meatheads who just try to kill you.. and then you just gotta wear them down and teach them some BJJ, if you know what I mean.Originally Posted by Croaker

Well yeah.. I have that wrestling and MMA background, so I can explode and scramble when I need to. But when I'm trying to control my opponent, I've learned to focus a lot more on positioning and pressure, and just stay relaxed and pliable (i.e. able to transition). My grappling has seen a huge improvement, HUGE, in the past month, which is AWESOME.Originally Posted by Croaker

Yest I went back to BJJ after a month and a no stripe white belt with no gi nearly submitted me and I'm a 4 stripe white belt that now will obvisouly never get his blue belt. I've trained 3x in the past 2 months. I feel like I'm lost on the mat. Also my opponnet def had to have had some wrestling experience and was Jacked out of his mind. And nearly ****ed up my spine
