Really pulling for the Optima. Thanks for the input and pedantic banter, dudes.
Scions look nice, but I can probably jew a fully loaded Optima down to at least $24k due to the volume of Kia dealers in my area.MMMC

Contrarily, I've heard nothing but good from those I know who've bought a Kia. I know that in prior years they were really ****ty, but perhaps they've turned themselves around recently.

Well what has turned me off and thusly made me very anti-Kia was the last time we looked for a vehicle we went all over the place. Hyundai, Nissan, Dodge, Chevy, Ford, Honda, VW, etc. and Kia was the only place that had a "market value adjustment" where they thought because the market was so good (strong fail) for Kia's they should increase the cost by 10%. I asked about it and the guy acted like it was something normal for a car to get marked up above MSRP for no real reason other than some BS about market value making it cost more.
BUT they could have just been a shady dealer in the hills of Tennessee...hell as backwoods as we are 'round here it was likely a 10 year old car anyway.

I'm pretty sure every dealership marks up their cars over MSRP. It's done so you can haggle them down a bit and feel like you pulled one over on them and they still get a bit extra. They are a business, not a charity. Maybe someday UNICEF will get into the car business, until then, they're gonna get their money.

All 3 of those cars are pretty cool. From a quality stand point you usually can't go wrong with Honda, and the coupe looks awesome. That Optima also ooks really cool, my friend just got one and the interior was decent. Not sure about their quality though. Wish they made it in AWD for Cleveland winters, I'd buy one if they did.

Same bro, just wanted to give the guy in the suit some ****. CK educated me long ago that it's just the internet, so I've stopped with getting butthurt *shrug*
Have you looked at the Chevy Cruze at all esh? It's 4 door only, but damn I think it's nice really trying to keep up with how they perform on the various review sites (edmunds, msnauto, etc.) to see if they are worth a flip. It's the car I'm pushing the wife to check out.
