My wife wanted a Yonanas machine for mother's day so that was one of her gifts. If you haven't heard of it, google it, but it basically uses frozen bananas to create an ice cream-like base to which you can add other frozen fruits or ingredients to make your own "ice-cream."
I decide to experiment with it the other day and came up with a very simple protein loaded treat. All you would need, besides the machine of course, is 1 scoop of your favorite whey protein, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and a frozen banana.

Picture 3 shows all the ingredients in the mixing bowl
Picture 4 shows the start of your forearm workout :-)
Picture 5 shows the finished product... kick back and enjoy!

05-19-2013, 12:35 PM #3Pretty much, if you just use frozen fruits you end up with the consistency of sorbet but when you add the whey powder and peanut butter the consistency is closer to a very thick pudding or frosting but nice and cold like ice cream.Originally Posted by cumminslifter

so... all the machine does is basically squish the banana, then YOU do all the work? sounds like a pretty bad machine IMO.
