I'll show you the whole article written on it but 1/3 of the pics... sorry i haven't scanned anything in a while, but this took at least a couple hours just for part 1... enjoy

that write up on Dillett is EXACTLY how i feel when i see new pics of him. He had everything going for him, he was at 26, already the biggest freak of all time (waist factor). He was a man blessed by GOD. He was the Portrait of GOD. Dantop, we are blessed !

Yep, Arnie is the synonym of bodybuilding for everyone in the world, more than any other bber or official in the IFBB. Who the hell knows about the Weiders?

Dillet is changing my logic capabilities. Those arms, width and flat waist are not human.

maybe dan or jld can tell me this: what happened to his back and posing? in the '93 Mr. O his posing wasn't the best but it was actually ok. the same goes for his back it wasn't great but it was better than the years to come imo.

Firstly, when talking about the specimen Dillett. He had a very narrow waist, so he was never going to have a Yates-like back to begin with. His bodytype was similar to Flex, very ecto like, small bone structure actually, as you can see from his head, neck and joints. Flex too, had a much more detailed back, but lacked size and got owned when standing next to Ron and Yates (curse of the ecto). Dilletts lats too, were assymmetrical, right one smaller than the left. His career probably reached its apex at the 94 AC, after this, a steady regression. Shawn Ray has stipuated in numerous boards that Dillett was never able to reach his 1994 form, maybe due to nerve damage suffered at the 94 AC show. Look, Dillett had a horrible work ethic. I have detailed accounts of his workouts at Golds Venice, he relied heavily on his genetics. He looked like a God from the age of 25 already,not needing much training to achieve this. It shows later in his career, he just never improved. he jsut did not know what it took to reach the next level. If things come too easily to someone, you jsut dont know what it takes to be a champion. Regarding the posing, Dillett stated that he never really cared about posing, he never saw it as artistry or anything, he had a more macho outlook on what bodybuilding meant to him. Imagine Dillett with Yates approach. He could have been about 15% better, not a Mr Olympia, Yates conditioning was too good, but still a better version. The 1993 Dillett version, was truly something to marvel at, his width was at its alltime best, i will always have Dillett 93 as this version captured my imagination and molested it!

In 1994 Dillett cramps onstage while posing at the Arnold Classic due to extreme dehydration. He risked to die.
This was the beginning of his decline. He had bad mentality in the gym with not much technique.
This is the reason we consider Dillet the Goat in genetics matter. He reached a monstrous mix of mass and aesthetics, never matched, only thanks to his genetics (+ great response to drugs).
