That phone could have had an software that is able to clone the frequency of the police comms devices. The way he was waving it by their equipment is pretty suspect. If there was any suspicion of this, the only move would be to get him out of range. The shove wasn't very forceful, he happened to fall backwards and strike his head. It's unfortunate, but certainly not excessive force by the police. There was no intent by the officers to hurt him in any way.

I just watched the video. He hits the ground at 8 seconds, someone tried to help him and was stopped at 10 and the medic doesn't even kneel down next to him until 28. Seconds matter here and there is absolutely no reason why he shouldn't have been helped ASAP.

I don't know, I wasn't there and I don't know what training/skills the officers have. I do however know at least one officer felt it was a good idea to attempt to help him almost instantly - and was stopped. Nobody, and I mean nobody, should look at that video and go "yea that seems right."
