That's completely fair. I understand you can't, but I should rephrase my previous post by saying that teens should be "allowed" to take basic things as long as its done correctly (srry about that) such as protein, Bcaa's and possibly creatine etc.. After all that is why there is a teen supplements page on this website, right? I myself would take something for the same reason an older person would. I think it would be "whey"... haha.. better to inform a teen on which supplements they can safely take so they don't go jump onto something very dangerous because of a lack of knowledge. Just my honest opinion guys.

I hear you but at the same point it opens reps up to legal issues. the teen section is where you can get or give help to your fellow peers my best advise for you is stick with diet and training if you do decide on your own to use supplements even though I or the rest of my team do not recommend this make sure to do your homework

I've been taking supplements for two years and this is my third year in bodybuilding. Believe me the good results came only when i stopped taking any of that stuff. in the end, it's called a supplement and it wont replace the lack of nutrition in a diet.. good clean eating is 80% of the game and i agree with that, so waste your money on food instead of supps, you'll only be more satisfied believe me

    Supplements under 18.

I think that you can use supplements like protein even if you are under 18 years old.

I see no problem with taking protein before 18. Hell I was drinking protein shakes at 12 (bad idea... I'll admit that). But I don't see a warning label on my ON container. It's not exactly easy to get all my protein in through just meats (which I eat a good amount of). Now pwo can be helpful, but they are unnecessary. Multivitamins are good even for non lifters, you can't deny that. If you get too much of a vitamin you pee it out anyways.

I'm only 17 and I use supplements but I've learned from a lot of research and hard work that you need to bust ass in the gym and have great nutrition to change your body. My body didn't start to change until I changed my diet

Very helpful! I've been looking into being a personal trainer when I grow up. I take protein for the same reasons you said! I take it cause I lack protein in my everyday most of the time. I was wondering will I make good money as a personal trainer and will having sponsors increase my income?

    With that being said.

You're under 18, We cannot(legally) and will not recommend you use ANY supplement.

This is our advice to you. If you decide to take it you will be ripped, you will be fit, and you will have success in this industry someday.
    Follow these steps

    1. Go ahead and click this link Nutrition
In this section you will find information on your diet and how key it is. In bodybuilding diet is the most important thing, It comes down to Protein/Carbs/Fats. How many calories you ingest combined with how many calories you burn per day. It's very simple but people like to over complicate things.
It does not matter what foods you eat, or what time of the day you eat them. What matters is how much at the end of the day and staying in either a calorie deficit or surplus.
To bulk up: You must be in a calorie surplus
To lose weight: You must be in a calorie deficit

It's that simple. Don't be that guy who asks "how do i build lean muscle"

    2. Go ahead and click this link Workout Routines, More Workout Routines
Now you need to find a program or make one that fits your lifestyle.
You need to figure out what you will be using (could be a home gym, body weight exercises, an actual gym)
Once you figure this out, you need to stick with it. With a good diet and good routine you will gain muscle, you will lose fat.
The hardest part about this sport is doing the same thing everyday. But in the end it pays off.
Do not lift like an idiot, Be smart about it. Don't go in the gym and curl 60 lb dumbbells, start low and work your way up.
Do it correctly, Anyone can throw up a weight, the different between successful people in the gym is to know your weight tolerance.

    3. Sleep, This is key. Sleep is when you grow, it's when your body rests. THIS IS KEY in any bodybuilders routine. 6-8 hours per night. No exceptions.
No need to go party, You have to make a life choice. Go out and party, or eat healthy and get ripped for the future. Your choice.
You can still have fun and be a bodybuilder, The difference is to know when to have fun, and when to be serious about diet/training.
This is a lifestyle. Working out 2 times a week with a crappy diet and a bad routine will never result in the gainz you seek.

Now to sum this all up, You don't need supplements again.
Supplements are literally to supplement your diet where you lack, They in no way make up for a poor diet.
You're young, Stick to the basics and by the time you're 18 you will be so ripped company's will throw free supplements at you.

155g protein is not hard to get if you have a properly formed diet.
    Now 200-300g, That's hard.

Yes you're right... Supplements were created for the sole reason of supplementing the users diet where they lack.
But you need to figure out how to properly diet up and down before you supplement or you will never have gains.

I know its not hard to get it but its not as easy as people say it is.
Something unexpected could come up(supermarket closed - idk) and hence I would have to take supplements to reach 150gr.

    I was just wondering haha.

    Thank you for anwering

Think you can be 16 over here in the UK/NI to our purchase any supplements. Didn't know the US was strict on it

Not strict on certain things we just cannot provide supplement help to any minor.
