Can confirm, funnel cake tastes decent in water. I haven't found many that do unfortunately

One thing that improves the taste of almost all powders mixed in water is crushed ice. Blend your powder then add in some ice and blend it in. The coldness and added thickness tends to help with the taste in my experiences.

Always prefer at least almond milk, but Gaspari Precision Protein tastes great in water. Another good one I've had is Cellucor Cor-Performance Whey.
