Where I live it's impossible to find decants or samples so I'd have to buy a decant online and have a friend or family member bring it from Miami to the Caribbean. Got a 3ml sample from Sak's the other day, this one is good - but strange. Right out of the gate it's a rich, opulent blast of chocolate or coffee but within 20 seconds the lighter side of the scent takes the main stage. Who would ever think florals + coffee make for a good smelling anything but it's done so damn well here. My nose can't distinguish between gardenia and carnation - all I know is "florals" lol. It's a high of 79 here today so maybe this wasn't the greatest choice to wear in the heat, but so far in the early morning hours it's very, very strong.

May not have been getting enough carbs. And as W1LL said, not minding your micros. Iron deficit is the most common for producing muscle tears. I take in upwards of 150% DV on the daily and my body still struggles to keep up with the needs. Never torn a muscle or tendon though from lifting, and I tend to overtrain all the time.

In other news, wore Kenzo Homme Sport last night.

Biked some 7 miles to go to Planet Fitness. Wow...quite the entry-level palace. Greatest dumbbell is 50lbs...no raw bench (only smith machines). Good thing I get in free with Silver Sneakers.

Awesome day in the fragrance universe boyos. Decided to walk in a Neiman Marcus and explore as long as my tolerance of annoying sales associates would allow me. Wanted to just put my nose to things that are hyped as well as some slept on gems.

Tom Ford

Tuscan Leather Intense vs. the OG: In my opinion the OG is just better simply because the berry note is stronger in this opening although both are enjoyable.

Metallique: Floral with Aldehydes. So my mind initially jumped to a more "widely enjoyed chanel no.5". it's almost perfectly unisex although in my opinion it'd just make a great fall scent for a woman.

Fougere D'Argent & Fougere Platine: Picked these up at random simply because i've never heard a single word about them. One of my fav scents to date is Chanel Sycomore. The Fougere Platine is SO fooking good and plays in sort of the green/dusty vibe like Sycomore. It's got that hnnnng TF blending and it's just a unique/mature/boujee smell all around. I'm sure the performance is chit, but if a bottle of it pops up on the ******** frag boards for $100 or so bucks i'm snatching it.

I was actually looking for the Chanel counter to test out more of the Les Exclusive line, but I was keeping a thousand mild straight ahead gaze so i wouldn't have to fight off 50 different sales Associates. So of course I just bee lined to the first brand that I knew wasn't selling makeup, so I landed at creed.

Aventus vs Aventus Cologne: bruhs... Aventus cologne... i THINK I like it more than aventus. Although Im aware it's possible my nose just thinks the aventus smell is "played out". The cologne is a touch more Aromatic, and the pineapple doesn't punch you in the nose like the OG does but rather smoothly blends in with a woody base. Currently, everyone on the frag boards seems to be hating on aventus cologne calling it "average" or over hyped. For me personally, I think it's a more finely tuned Aventus. The opening isn't gimmicky like Aventus. It's a lot more chill. You can buy a mustang with 500hp and you can also buy a porsche with 500hp. The OG Aventus is the Mustang "HURRR DURRR MUH PINEAPPPLE!!!!". The Aventus Cologne is the porsche pulling up to sl00ts lowkey on a saturday night, rolls down the window and is like "ay babe, wan't some dic... I mean pineapple?"

Les Royales Exclusives Collection: Spice&Wood - Apparently the best seller, and is nice, but I wouldn't purchase. Pure White Cologne - hnnnnng I was like HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG. I want a full bottle. That's all i'm saying.


Aqua Originale Collection: Never even heard of these fuking things. The sales associate got the sense that I wasn't buying anything but I definitely knew my chit, and asked me if I heard of this collection. I said no and he walked me to the back of the little kiosk. I thoroughly enjoyed these. This is where you find your signature scent, because they aren't meant to be predictable mass pleasers but rather well made unique scents.

Asian Green Tea - Enjoyable but I passed on it | Cedre Blanc - Enjoyable and will get a decant to wear in the future | Aberdeen Lavender - I stood there smelling the strip of this probably for 3 minutes straight. It's one of the most odd fragrances i've ever smelled but I think I like it.

Sales Associate asked me if I wanted to try on Aventus Cologne so I could walk around and try it. I declined and he was like well let me hook you up with some decants. So the fuking guy sprayed out 3ml of Aventus Cologne and Aberdeen Lavender for me to try out at a later time. Legit made my day.



ALSO I caught a week ban on basenotes for cursing out a mod. Today was a good day.

Yeah fuk fragheads, they suck. I would trust my nose over theirs in a heartbeat cuz I'm the shiet. So I'll reserve my judgement between jauventeuese and the cologne version until I sample them myself.


Only reason I'm posting is to let you know my SOTD was a massive success. Applied 2 sprays in the morning. Right before leaving work a female friend came to visit. I hadn't seen her in a long time and as she came up and hugged me, she went crazy about my scent. Was asking my worker if she smelled how good Coalmane smelled today. And 2 other times within a space of 10 minutes she had to just leave the conversation and comment about my smell because it was so "sexy and distracting"
