The new systems seem more interesting. Xbox Scorpion and PSPro I believe they're called. I have 4K TV's so I bet the graphics are incredible.

And no judgement, I'm behind too. Haven't had the time or money, since a lot of games are pretty time consuming and also it's an expensive hobby. I feel like most of the games I play anymore are older games that were ported to another console.

It's marketed for gaming, but profile says it should be good for other things like studying, something to use prior to attending class, energy drink replacement for a night out, etc.

last time i played Civ5 was 2 years ago when my 2nd was born and i was on paternity leave. my wife wasnt sleeping because the baby wasnt waking up and i wasnt sleeping because of Civ5... lol

I purchased a PS4 after being a loyal Xbox fan for many years. Didn't want to support Microsoft for all the stupid crap they originally planned at launch. But on a serious note:
